Catholic Ministries Appeal Update & Reminder
Thank you to all of our Pastorate families who have already pledged a gift to our Catholic Ministries Ap-
peal. By giving to the Appeal, you are helping to support programs for our retired priests as well as new
seminarians, for our youth, Newman Centers, deacon, prison ministry, pregnancy centers and so much
more. If you have not had the chance to pledge yet, please consider it. Pledge cards were mailed to
our parishioners, but also may be found at the entrances to our Parishes. Cards may be returned via
mail, or by placing in our collection basket.
As a reminder, our goals are:
We are happy to report that one of our Parishes within the Pastorate has already succeeded their goal,
and another is very close to reaching theirs as well. We would love to reach 100% participation, so
please return your pledge card to the Parish, even if you cannot make a pledge at this time.

ACTUALIZACION Y RECORDATORIO DE LA APELACION DE MINISTERIOS CATOLICOS
Gracias a todas nuestras familias pastoras que ya se han comprometido a hacer una donación a
nuestra Campaña de Ministerios Católicos. Al donar a la Campaña, está ayudando a apoyar
programas para nuestros sacerdotes jubilados, así como para los nuevos seminaristas, para nuestra
juventud, los Centros Newman, el diácono, el ministerio de prisiones, los centros de embarazo y mucho
más. Si aún no ha tenido la oportunidad de comprometerse, considérelo. Se enviaron tarjetas de
compromiso a nuestros feligreses, pero también se pueden encontrar en las entradas de nuestras
parroquias. Las tarjetas se pueden devolver por correo o colocándolas en nuestra canasta de

UPDATE FROM THE HAITI MINISTRY COMMITTEE
Due to Covid 19 and political unrest in Haiti, there were no mission trips to Mariani, Haiti in 2020 to visit
our sister parish, Notre Dame of the Immaculate Conception and Father Raphael. Therefore, needed
prescription drugs, eye drops and over the counter medicines and supplies usually carried by our medi-
cal mission team members have been shipped through a contact in New York. The cost of medicine,
along with the cost of shipping to Port-au-Prince will exceed $6,000. Also, our committee recently re-
ceived a donation of French school books from the Knights of Columbus. These books have been
shipped to Fr. Raphael for use in his school in Mariani, Haiti. Please keep our Haitian brothers and sisters
in your prayers. Thank you for your continued generous support of our sister parish in Haiti.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Larry & Mary Eldridge, parish-
ioners of St. Peter’s. Larry’s Father, Larry C. Eldridge, age 81, passed
away on Thursday, October 22nd in Donaldson, Indiana. His funer-
al liturgy was celebrated on Wednesday, October 28th. Please
keep the Eldridge Family in your prayers as they grieve their loss.
Bob Lalonde, brother in law of Catherine Dywan, a parishioner of
St. Peter, passed away on Oct. 22 in Atlanta, GA at age 61. He left
behind 2 children and his wife, Anna. Please keep the Dywan/
LaLonde Family in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve their

PULASKI COUNTY FOOD PANTRY HOLIDAY BASKETS
It’s that time of year again! The year is quickly slipping by us and the holidays are right around the cor-
ner. The Lazarus Collection for the month of November will be focused on monetary donations to pur-
chase the hams for the Pulaski County Food Pantry Holiday Baskets. As in previous years, our Parishes
will provide the main dish for the many holiday baskets that are distributed to those in need. The bas-
kets will be distributed early December; however, we must collect the funds early in order to purchase
the hams. If you would like to donate, please place your donation in the collection basket (be sure to
put your donation in an envelope labeled “HAMS”). All funds will be collected through St. Peter (if writ-
ing a check, please make it payable to St. Peter). If you have any questions, please call the Winamac
Office. Thank you to all of our dedicated parishioners who make this wonderful ministry to the less for-
tunate of community possible each year. Without your help, it would not be a success! God bless all!!!
