ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN AN EMERGENCY/ Observe the two different fire alarm signals and follow the instructions of the fire safety team. The interrupted fire alarm indicates a possible fire and alerts the fire safe-ty team. The permanent fire alarm initiates the evacua-tion. Please use the emergency exits and go directly to one of our assembly points.

/ In case of an accident or an environmental damage call our internal on-call-service (0664/6213800) and in case of imminent danger call directly the emergency services (122, 133, or 144). Our on-call-service prompts further actions. In case of fire use the fire alarm buttons to alert the fire brigade.

/ Leave the building by using the escape routes in case of danger. Help injured persons. Do not use any lift and close all doors behind you. Follow the instructions of the rescue and fire prevention staff.

/ Go directly to the assembly point and wait for further instructions. Report missed persons to the “Emergency Guides” at the assembly points.

/ In case of injuries you will find first aid kits in our buildings. Ask your Fronius contact person for our first responders which are available during the normal work-ing hours.

/ Many Fronius sites provide an automatic external defi-brillators (AED).

/ Some areas are equipped with a CO2 fire extinguishing system. Leave this room/area at once if the CO2 alarm is displayed or can be heard.

/ Our garages must be monitored for carbon monoxide. The warning system is going to call attention to this danger at the entrances. Leave the garage at once if the CO alarm is displayed or can be heard.

/ Unless otherwise agreed, remaining quantities or not used working materials as well as waste have to be taken back after the work is completed. Please apply to your Fronius contact person if a waste disposal by Fronius was agreed. Generally the waste has to be disposed separately in accordance with the Waste Management Guideline.

/ In case of incidents which could lead to any contamina-tion of groundwater, wastewater, soil or air our internal on-call service has to be informed at once (call 0664/6213800).

/ Secure pressurized gas cylinders with suitable fixing gear to prevent falling. Valves of not used gas systems have to be closed. The valve protection cap must be closed before transporting a pressurized gas cylinder.

/ To drive a forklift a forklift license is required. Concern-ing all self-propelled working appliances (forklift, pallet truck, lifting platform, etc.) an internal driving license and an internal briefing is needed.

/ Only employees with the needed skills and expertise are allowed to be engaged on our sites.

/ Each workplace accident needs to be reported to your Fronius contact person. Do the same if you perceive seri-ous and immediate danger to safety and health.

/ Used working equipment has to comply with the valid regulations and provisions. Hold ready any proofs for working equipment that needs to be monitored and test-ed in regular intervals. Label clearly your equipment and make sure that it is not abused or used without authority.

/ Construction sites need to be made adequately safe. This also applies to activities above existing workspaces of Fronius, above traffic areas, etc. so that nobody is en-dangered by falling equipment or materials.

/ After erecting a scaffolding it must be checked and ap-proved by a skilled employee from the contractor/service provider before it is used for the first time.

/ Make all positions safe from danger of falling or of breaking through. The appropriate use of full body safe-ty harness and its accessories must be supervised by the responsible persons of the contractor/service provider.

/ Use of radios is not permitted on our Fronius sites.

pROCESS fOR ThE fRONIuS CONTACT pERSON:/ You are responsible for the safety of the contractor resp. service provider. Therefore please pay attention to the following steps:

1 If you assign a company please consider the information and requirements of the form FO-OHSM-04, which can be found on our central information plat-form for safety.

2 Before starting work, each contractor and service provider has to be instructed at least once a year.

3 In addition to this safety notes an actual version of the parking rules has to be handed over.

4 By using the form above, the contractor/service provider has to confirm the receipt and understanding of these safety notes. This section remains with the Fronius contact person and has to be kept for at least one year.

5 Before leaving the site the contractor resp. service provider has to check out. Handed over badges have to at least be returned by the end of the job.

6 Make sure that in case of evacuation, the contractor/service provider also goes directly to one of our meeting points.

NOTES fOR YOuR SAfETY/ Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in many areas of our site. For your own safety you must wear the appropriate safety equipment when entering these areas. Unless otherwise agreed exter-nal service providers must bring along their own PPE as required.

/ Electromagnetic fields are present in certain areas. The access to these areas is forbidden to persons with pacemakers or other implants.

/ Pay attention to our internal traffic, especially on our logistic paths and in our outdoor areas. Our in-dustrial trucks are powered electrically, therefore difficult to hear and have priority over other road users.

/ On the whole site you must comply with the Aus-trian Road Traffic Act (StVO) and with the manda-tory speed limit.

/ Smoking is prohibited across all our sites, except in designated outdoor areas or atria.

/ Alcohol and drugs are prohibited on all Fronius sites.

/ Do not enter areas without a work order.

/ Only EX certified equipment is permitted in explo-sion proof areas, the use of any equipment which produces sparks is forbidden. Before starting to work in these areas a special approval is required.

/ Fire or open flames are forbidden! Abrasive cutting work, work that generates heat, all work involving open flame: Welding, cutting, soldering, grinding, and abrasive cutting work, and all other types of work involving open flame or sparks are prohibited and may be performed only in designated work-shops. In all other places an approval for hot work has to be applied in advance.

/ Floor markings indicate the different areas on Fro-nius sites: Yellow: ESD zone Yellow/black: permanent obstacle or hazard Red: area must not be obstructed Green: footpath

ENTERING ANd lEAvING ThE COMpANY SITE/ Please report to the reception or to your Fronius contact person after arriving on our site. The Fronius contact person will clarify this safety instruction. Please acknowledge the receipt in the first section of this brochure.

/ Issued badges must be worn in a visible place.

/ At the end of your stay please check out at reception or to your Fronius contact person. Return all badges, keys, etc..

/ Badges and keys are not to be handed over to other persons. A loss has to be reported to your contact person at once.

/ Inform affected persons at an early stage of an area where you have to work.

/ On our site in Sattledt it is forbidden to use chemical agents con-taining silicone.

NOTES ON CORpORATE pROTECTION/ Filming and taking pictures is not allowed without permission.

/ Use of mobile phones in designated areas is prohibited.

/ Electronical devices must not be connected to our company LAN without authorization.

/ Outdoor areas and sensitive indoor areas are monitored by CCTV.
