Objectives of the Ghana Cashew Day
� Discuss and promote understanding of Ghana’s cashew sector
� 2-3 recommendations in cashew � 2-3 recommendations in cashew production, processing, marketing, finance and other parts of the value chain
� Elect a National Committee for Ghana� National Committee Working Session to
Follow-up on Recommendations
National Committee Terms of Reference
Duties:
� self-finance activities � promote ACA membership at the national level� disseminate information from ACA Secretariat to nat ional
stakeholders� provide ACA Secretariat with regular updates, in pa rticular
information on production, market, price and other information on production, market, price and other developments
� facilitate public-private cooperation� assess technical assistance needs within the sector ,
inform the ACA Secretariat and mobilize resources f or addressing such needs
� compile best practices and case studies � elect national representative(s) in an open, fair, transparent
and democratic process for a three-year term� assist in the organization of the ACA Annual Confer ence
(when hosting the conference) and mobilize the nati onal delegation to the Annual Conference
