Byalee Bub, pictured at just 6 days, is the latest of four full sisters from the beautiful Byalee Magnolia – a real “keeper” broodmare showing the best of Richmeed Medallion and Jazz lines. Full brother to Magnolia, Byalee Millions was supreme South Australian junior warmblood and top 10 at the National Horse of the Year hack show, while another full brother, Byalee Mist, is achieving the dream in Qld dressage. Like her sisters, Bub has good looks and incredible movement that just doesn’t touch the ground – hardly surprising given her outstanding genetics! Bub is by the beautiful palomino warmblood stallion Byalee Briar, who is by Bjorsells Briar, the world’s number one dressage stallion for seven fantastic international years of Olympic and World Cup success until his recent retirement. Both Briar and the dam sire, Bernstein, are elite-listed Swedish stallions, along with Briar’s sire Magini. Not bad! Also by GMC Matisse is a gelding currently under saddle and on the market for $27,500. Boxer has the look-at-me presence to make his mark in the dressage world with any professional rider. Byalee Romantique is the first Romance youngster to be offered under saddle and the only one we have managed to keep long enough to ride! “Hamish” might have incredible three paces – but he is also incredibly comfortable to sit to and learns amazingly quickly. He has been brought only slowly – broken in the country way out in an open paddock with no fear of traffic or dark - and is showing huge promise. It isn’t surprising given that he is a half-brother to Grand Prix champion Byalee Magic, by Richmeed Medallion (imp). Another half-brother, Byalee Fantasy, sold for some $20,000 under saddle, half-sister Byalee Blush is in the Ryan broodmare herd and two foals out of half-sister Byalee Miracle have sold as weanlings for $11,000 each. Hamish’s dam, Savannah, is by Salute (imp) with Ludendorf (imp) and Monopol (imp) bloodlines and of course his sire is Byalee Romance, a stallion who can piaffe and passage easily without a hint of whip and who is of course by national Grand Prix dressage champion Regarderz Moi (imp). It is an elite family that also offers top jumping prospects via Salute and Ludendorf. Hamish does represent a rare opportunity to snaffle a unique product and undoubtedly will mature into a beautiful competition horse.

Rocklilly R is a magnificent mare who is very confident and who possesses enormous power in everything she does. Her walk has big overtrack and a powerful four-beat rhythm. Her trot powers around the arena like a turbo-charged metronome. Her canter is seriously up in front with great knee action and an elevated shoulder as only the champions can do. Rocklilly R has had some five foals, with her Jive Magic filly Juniper R being retained by the Ryans as part of their young broodmare herd. Another filly by Fiji R, Frangipani R, was sold at AOS for $15,500 in Victoria. Currently Rocklilly R has a Starnberg filly on her as seen in the photograph. This filly will be kept by Ryans. Rocklilly R will be sold in foal to Fiji R with a live foal guarantee. Rocklilly R’s sire is the legendary Regardez Moi who has been the Australian Grand Prix dressage champion on two separate occasions. Rocklilly R is out of the Salute mare Samphire R, Salute being famous for being the sire of Victory Salute who with Brett Parbery was 9th in the world in dressage at the recent WEG in the USA. Salute was also the sire of Stirling Stilton who was the top-placed Australian Grand Prix dressage horse at the 2002 WEG in Spain. There are many others. Rocklilly R is a truly beautiful mare.

Millie is a very talented young mare and is very attractive to look at. She has only just started competing in eventing and right from the start was a winner. Millie does a very good dressage test, is bold and fast cross-country and has a super jump over show jumps. Millie has been going for just one year and already has moved through newcomers grade, moved through the introductory grades and today is competing in the preliminary grades. As can be seen in the photo she is now jumping quite big fences with consummate ease. Millie is by Richmeed Medallion (imp, dec) who is also the sire of 4-star eventer Mystery Whisper. Millie is genuine in all ways and very straightforward. Millie is a no-fuss horse and would make a great family horse just as she would make a serious competition horse for a professional.

Rafaella R is the most handsome foal produced to date by Jandy R. Animoso VII is an Andalusian stallion appearing well down on the bottom side of the breeding table and does provide a very interesting contribution to a potential Olympic bloodline, the Andalusian blood being particularly strong in collection and talented in piaffe and passage. Funnily enough Miss Tracey who is right down on the bottom is a thoroughbred who produced a three-day event horse which went around Badminton 4-star in England. Rafaella R is by Regardez Moi who has on two separate occasions been the Australian Grand Prix dressage champion. Rafaella R is out of Jandy R who in turn is by perhaps the most powerful Grand Prix dressage stallion in Australia, Jive Magic. All of this combined with the Animoso VII blood does make for a very interesting individual. Further, Rafaella R does have a full brother called Raseel R (Revelry R) who is now in training with Heath Ryan with a view to going Grand Prix. This is of course an important consideration from a commercial point of view. Rafaella R is definitely an out-there possibility when talking about Olympic medals.

Monopoly is by BB Flemminghton (Flemmingh) whose short career has included champion ridden and led warmblood in WA, runner-up WA State young horse (more than 70% first outing), top 10 DWTS 2003, and a Dressage NSW bronze medal at novice from just six outings. Monopoly has a very laidback, unflappable attitude. He has lovely conformation and is extremely light on his feet with an elastic, cadenced trot, a soft, uphill, well-balanced canter and a good roomy walk with a soft, snaffle mouth. He has a compact, athletic build, showing potential for extravagant movement combined with willingness to learn. He is extremely receptive to voice commands on the lunge, is inquisitive and comes when called. He is completely sound and has never had an injury. Monopoly was started as a 4yo and has been taken slowly. He is good on trails, on the beach, in the arena, on the lunge or in hand. He is good to tie up and float, and currently being trained by Heath Ryan. He has been raised on correct feed in open pasture and has been regularly trimmed, wormed and had his teeth done. He is microchipped and ready to go. He is for sale only due to the extenuating circumstances of the owner, who is now unable to compete him and take him to the levels that he is more than capable of achieving.

AEA Miami is a special youngster with exceptionally strong and powerful movement and a pretty face. This comes as no surprise with FEI dressage champion AEA Metallic as sire. Metallic is now on the Victorian A squad and was the highest-placed stallion in the Prix St George Cup at the recent DWTS Championships. Everyone is in awe when they get the chance to see him move. If it wasn’t for commitments of a young family he would be competing and winning all over Australia. He is only 10 and can do almost all the Grand Prix movements. We are aiming for an intensive spring campaign and are gearing up for Grand Prix next year. His offspring continue to amaze us. They are ALL unbelievably quiet and intelligent like him. Miami’s dam, Lucinda, is by the NSW Equestrian Centre-bred Stirling Luther, who was competing at FEI dressage before an accident retired him to stud. Miami’s full brother, two years older, was sold at the recent AOS Gold Coast sale to Grand Prix rider Sue Hearn, who has great expectations of him. This is a beautiful colt that is fine, elegant and possesses beautiful movement. Julio R is going to have a refined and sculpted physique with real elegance. He has a lovely walk, a trot that covers the ground and displays great bend in all of the joints. His canter is very light and again has an elegant ballerina-type interpretation. Julio R has the kindest of natures and is very gentle. Julio R’s sire, Jive Magic, is often described as the most powerful Grand Prix dressage horse in Australia. On the dam’s side Julio R is out of the Regardez Moi mare Ribena R. Regardez Moi has, on two occassions, been the Australian Grand Prix dressage champion and has represented Australia at the 2009 World Cup Finals in Las Vegas.
