A walk to remember is about a boy named Landon Carter who falls in love with a girl named Jamie Sullivan. At first, Landon thinks Jamie is a lonely, friendless, religious freak but when he’s desperate for someone to take to the dance she’s his only choice. After the dance, they begin to grow closer and soon become great friends. They begin to fall in love, and soon it turns into a strong relationship.

Landon Carter: A popular, smart rich boy.

Jamie Sullivan: A religious, friendless, nice girl

Hegbert Sullivan: A lonely, sad widow. Also Jamie’s Dad.

Worth Carter: A rich, selfish, congressman. Also Landon’s Dad.

Landon: A Bystander or Turtle because he doesn’t stand up for himself or Jamie.

Jamie: A Dolphin because she stands up for herself and doesn’t let anyone hurt her feelings.
