BASED ON A TRUE STORY

When I was younger, my father used to buy us black greeting cards. At the time, I thought they were super corny but without fail, on every major holiday, he would give them to us with a black image gracing the cover and a message on the inside that I could relate to. The cards were sold at an independent black bookstore that closed down shortly after my mother moved us to California. I never forgot those cards or the way they made me feel growing up. Since having my son, I’ve had a burning itch to bring those feelings back so that I could share them with him. The urge of wanting to recreate that and (re)inspire others with positive and relatable images of black people eventually overcame me.

While filling a void, I decided to spawn a personality that people could relate to; a voice that is honest, refreshing and real. I’m using advice and motivating/inspiring quotes that were offered to me. Even some of the influential people I meet will be written in this journey. Ultimately, this is the world illustrated and narrated by me.

MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTOpening minimum order $100.Reorder minimum $50. Reorders below the $50 minimum will incur a fee of $10.The order minimum per design is 6 single cards or 6 sets/boxes containing (8 or 10 pieces per box).

ORDERING AND PAYMENTPlease email all orders to bymsjames@gmail.comFirst time orders must be paid via credit card or paypal.All payments are processed upon receipt of order and prior to shipment.Expedited orders may also be placed directly by phone at 909.446.5838

TURAROUND TIME AND SHIPPINGPlease allow 1 to 2 weeks for your order to ship. If items are currently in stock and available for shipment, your order will ship in 2-3 business days. If needing an order expedited, please let us know what your desired time frame is, and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Orders placed from November 1 thru December 15, may take slightly longer due to “holiday volumes”. We will make our best effort to ship your order as soon as possible during this period.

All domestic orders ship via UPS Ground unless otherwise requested. International orders are shipped via USPS.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. All shipping costs are charged at the time of shipment and will be included in your final invoice.

RETURNS AND CLAIMSWe will accept returns on damaged or incorrectly shipped merchandise only. No refunds will be given, replacement/exchange only.

All claims must be made within 10 days of receipt of order. No returns will be accepted after this 10 day period.

Customer is responsible for return shipping fees. Packages must be shipped back via carrier with package tracking associated with return.

Returns made without approval are not accepted. Authorized returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

CANCELLATIONSAll sales are final. No refunds will be given. By Ms James reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order.

The Good StuffBy Ms James Greeting cards are

printed on 110llb smooth white cardstock (we fancy!). All cards are A7 sized (5x10), blank on the inside and come with a natural kraft envelope. They are each packaged in

a plastic cello sleeve for safe travels. :-)
