Basics of geneticsDNA is the material that carries genetic

information.Genes are what makes us who we are.Our genes are inherited from our parents. But mutations can cause our genes to be

altered.

What I learned from my articleResearches are trying to find the genes

behind familial migraines. Some researchers have found SNPs that may

cause migraines but since genetic screening is so expensive it is hard for others to replicate their experiment and end up with the same results.

Also, some families might have rare mutations in their genes that are hard to compare to other families.
