Mexico is bordered by the United States on the north end, and Guatemala and Belize in the south.

Mexico is a large country and the climate of Mexico varies. Climates in the desert regions are typically very hot during the day and cool at nights. In general, Mexico city enjoys spring weather year round with the evenings somewhat cooler especially in winter. From June-September is the rainy season, which usually includes short and heavy showers in the afternoon.

The Mexican War of Independence (1810-1821) was an armed conflict between the people of Mexico and the Spanish colonial authorities which started on September 16, 1810.

The Mexican Revolution began in November 20, 1910 when trying to overthrow dictator Porfirio Diaz.

Mexico and the US continue to have conflict with the whole immigration issue. This is a source of disagreement while this angers many Mexicans this concerns Americans having Mexicans immigrate in the US.

Mexicans speak many different languages including: Spanish, various Mayan, nahuati, and other regional indigenous languages.

Religion The ancient Mexican religion is called the

Nahua religion or religion of the Nahuatl (the first Natives of Mexico). Worshipped several deities which present a resemblance with Greek and egyptian deities.

The Vivian Guadalupe also called our lady of Guadalupe by most Mexican people. It represents the integration between the Aztecs and the Spanish cultures including their different religious aspects.

Some common Mexican foods include: tortillas-rolled and baked for enchiladas, fried for tacos or grilled for quesadillas.

Guacamole-Avocado mashed with onions, chilies and cilantro (coriander). Served as a dip or as a garnish. Salsa
