Why We Have Time Zones People use to set their clocks back or

forward based on where the sun and stars were in the sky

The earth is on the axis and it is always tilting and rotating

This is why we have seasons Dawn and dusk occur at different times in

different places in the world

How Many Time Zones Do We Have We have about 24 time zones There are 6 time zones in the US All of these time zones are spread all out

through the world

How Can Time Zones Effect You There are different times in different places

of the world Some have a huge time difference and some

only have a little time change When the time changes and you did not set

your clock back then you could go to school 1 hour early

It can also effect the amount of sleep you get
