The Published book for RRB for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)

has been designed in such a way as to cater to the needs of Psychological/Aptitude

aspects of the test. The book contains questions according to the latest syllabus and

pattern of the examination. While writing the book, I have kept special attention

towards the fact that aspirants should be taught the concept lucidly so that they

can apply the tricks while solving questions of PSYCHOLOGICAL/ APTITUDE. The Tricks and

Concepts in the book will help the aspirants to solve the questions entirely in less than half the time than the

stipulated time.

TEST–1 (MEMORY TEST – A)

Introduction–Figure Position Memory Test is an important lesson of Psychological/ Aptitude Test held by Railway Recruitment Board. In this test, total of 24 questions are asked in 2 sets. Each set consists of 12 questions and 4 minutes are alloted to solve them which includes the time of colouring answers in Answer Sheet too. Thus, total of 8 minutes are alloted for 2 sets. Everysetconsistsoftwopages.ThefirstpageisMemoryPagewhichhas12pictures/shapesplaced on different positions. Examinee has to memorise them (pictures/shapes) with their location inthescheduledtimeoftwominutes.Inthenexttwominutes,Examineehastofindoutthelocationsof the pictures/shapes based on memory. The letter printed on the place of the picture/shape is your answer to be coloured in the Answer Sheet. Thus in this test (2 Sets of 12 + 12 = 24 questions), total alloted time for answering the questions are 8 minutes (4 + 4 = 8 minutes for two sets i.e. one com-plete test). The alloted time of 8 minutes is inclusive of the time consumed in colouring the answers, i.e. no extra time is alloted for colouring the answers in the Answer Sheet. Example–
