Underarm Shaping

Bind off 5 sts at beg of next 2 rws.

Count in pat st until piece measures 24” [row 172].

Bind off 30 shoulder sts. Bind off 37 back neck sts. Bind off 30 shoulder sts.

Front (Make two, [reversing shaping])

Cast on 47 sts.

Establish rib pattern on Row 1: *K1 , P1. Repeat from *. End K1.

Establish rib pattern. Work 21 rws [2.5”].

On row 22, increase as follows:

Rib-to-Body Inc Row

Begin Neck Shaping

Sleeve Shaping

Work one row. Begin sleeve shaping:

Inc 1 st on each side every 4th rw 24x, then every 6th rw 4x.

Cont in pat st until piece meas 18.13”[row 125]. Bind off 104 sts.

Neck Band

Cast on 96 sts. Work 1” in *k1, p1 rib pattern. Bind off loosely in pat.

Front Bands (make 2)

Cast on 142 sts. Work 1” in *k1, p1 rib pattern.

Bind off neatly.

Finishing

Using an invisible seam the neck band to the neckline. Seam the Bands one to each side of the sweater.

Join seams.

Weave in all ends.
