Presentation If You Plan to Dance, It’s Time to ‘Pretty Up’
Is your small hospital caught between two reimbursement
systems? Do you find yourself trying to survive under cost-
based or fee-for-service while trying to prepare for Values
Based reimbursement?
If so, you are not alone. In this session, we will examine
the pressures on rural healthcare today, examine trends
impacting those pressures, and identify six things every
rural hospital should be doing to set themselves up for
success under both systems. Along the way, we will
examine the case study of one rural hospital that moved
from the brink of closure to being recognized as one of the
best hospitals in America.
