After World War II the UN gave land to the Jews

The Jews got their own state on the east cost of the Mediterranean (Palestine).

The land that the Jews were given is neighbored by Arabic countries.

After World War II the United Nations voted to make Palestine into a Arab and Jewish state.

Neither religion could make claims in Jerusalem.

Every Islamic country voted against it. And Palestinians rejected it.

On may 14 1948 the Jewish nation of Israel was created.

The first day that Israel claimed itself to be an independent nation six Islamic states invaded.

Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.

Israel won within a few months of fighting.
