Open 6 days a week Planted 4 acres Muscadines in 2006 – 3 more acres in 2008 Wine produced 1st year 2009 – 600 cases (7,200 bottles) Wine produced 2nd year 2010 – 1,500 cases (18,000 bottles) Wine produced 3rd year 2011 – 2,900 cases (34,800 bottles)
Two years ago planted 14 more acres Stay sold out of many varieties ( quicker turn around time with fruit wines, about 100 days – No wines need aging). Best seller the last 2 years a sweet white muscadine. Only marketing is word of mouth. Winery has 3 full time and 2 part time employees – Two full time farm and vineyard employees (they also grow corn on farm) all family members.
