plot

This story is about a kid who is able to travel through time with baseball cards. He would like to travel to Gettysburg to meet the one and only general Abner double day. But their were no baseball cards in1863,( you see they say he may be the guy who made baseball up). Joey emails the baseball hall fame and asked if they had any pictures of him. And the did so they sent him a picture of Abner. We he told his mom that he is going to travel back to 1863. So she asked if she could come. Joey said ok. The ran over to the couch and sat down. The grabbed hands and then they disappeared. Joey opened his eyes to see that he was in a ditch with is mom in the middle of the civil war. The looked around the ditch to find three boys not much older then Joey. There names were will, Little John, and Joshua. The were fighting in the civil war. They were all from the north. So they did not like slavery. Right before they had gotten there a kid named Alex go shot. And he died. This fight was about to end. So Will asked if they would like to have dinner. Joey said ok. His mom said the same thing. That night they went off to find general Double day. The were not able to find him so the they begin to ask people were he was. They said he was over by the hill.So they walk over to the hill. Read the story to find out what happens.
