• Abraham Lincoln was born February 12, 1809 in Hodgenville, Kentucky with his mother Nancy Lincoln father Thomas Lincoln, and siblings Thomas Lincoln and Sarah Lincoln Grigsby.• Lincoln was not very
educated becoming not as most would think of in a president uneducated, and blue collar like his father.

ROAD TO PRESIDENCY
• Abe Lincoln was not know to be a political leader but he made a living homeschooling himself. Most southerners did not like Lincoln preaching non-slavery and being an abolitionist.
• Most northerners liked his view point and his fight as a Union fighter.

• Lincoln was loved and hated as the war was coming to an end Lincoln signed the 13th and 15th amendments and Emancipation Proclamation which ended slavery.
