The InfoSet contains InfoProviders A and B and both A and B contain InfoObjectX with a quantity attribute. In this case you have to specify exactly whether youwant to use X from A or X from B to determine the target quantity. Field aliasesare used in an InfoSet to ensure uniqueness. All the active InfoSets in the systemcan be displayed using input help. As long as you have selected an InfoSet, youcan select an InfoObject. All the InfoObjects with quantity attributes contained inthe InfoSet can be displayed using input help.

You have already chosen the associated quantity attribute 0PO_UNITfor InfoObject Z_COUNTRY. 1. Create and activate a DataStore Object DSOGR##B with description DSOfor line items data GR## in InfoArea T_BW350_GR## by copying existingDSO T_SD01.

Make sure that your DSO is not set to update data automatically.

2. Create and activate Update Rules from the InfoSource 2LIS_11_VAITM toyour DataStore Object, DSOGR##B from the context menu on your DSObject Create Update Rules .

3. Replicate the DataSource 2LIS_11_VAITM and reactivate the TransferRules.

4. In the OLTP system, delete the Delta Queue with transaction RSA7 forall queues in application 11.

5. With transaction LBWE in the OLTP system, the update mechanism for all ofthe extractors needs to be turned off, as you will turn them on in the real demoas they must be one to create the set-up tables or collect the delta information.

All Extract Structures in the area 11: SD Sales BW have to be switched to inactivewith a mouse click.

In the BI system: if the Delta Initialization has already been started in yourBI system, you have to change some parameter settings. Go to theInfoPackage for the delta initialization and choose the menu path:Scheduler Initialization Options for Source System and delete all entries and confirmmessages

6. Ensure that the set-up tables in the OLTP system are empty using the menupath in transaction : SBIW Settings for Appl.specific DataSourcesLogistics Managing Extract Structures Initialization Delete theContents of the Set-up Table. for Application: 11 Sales.

1. In the OLTP system, use transaction LBWE to activate all DataSourcesin the 11 application area.

2. Imagine your application has been productive for some time. The documentsalready posted have to be taken over into BI. One of these documents will bethe one that you are going to post now:

3. To avoid inconsistencies, your SD application in the OLTP system shouldnot be active during the set-up procedure.

The reason for that is that the update mechanism for the DataSources hasto be activated during the set-up procedure. Such set-up programs couldnot, for example, handle documents that are going to be changed while theset-up procedure is running. The activation is necessary because otherwisethe set-up table would not be filled.

Activate the Update Mechanism for Logistics Application 11: SD-SalesBW (for your demo at least the Extract Structure 2LIS_11_VAITM has tobe set to active).

4. In the OLTP system, start the set-up procedure for SD orders. Due toperformance reasons and to make the whole demo more understandable, youshould reduce the selection to the one document posted above.
