Set the mood with smart lightingWith our easy install smart lighting, setting the mood at home has never been easier. The bulbs are dimmable and offer different colours to suit the setting or time of day, like cooler and brighter light to wake you up in the morning, and softer, warmer light to help you unwind in the evenings. Control with movementIf you want motion sensitive lights, choose a complete set that contains the motion sensor and 1 LED light bulb with a warm-white light (2700 Kelvin).

Set the mood for every occasionIf you want to be able to create different types of light settings using our app, choose a complete kit that includes gateway, a remote control and 2 LED light bulbs with a white spectrum.

With TRÅDFRI gateway and TRÅDFRI app you can control each light source or groups of light sources individually. Turn the lights on and off, dim them, and change the light from warm to cold all within the app. Create moods with different types of light settings, like warmer, softer lighting for the evenings, and control them via remote control or the app. Another handy feature is scheduled lighting. Pick a time and adjust the lights to your liking, and they’ll switch on (or off) themselves. It’s great for waking up in the mornings, or making it look like you’re at home when you’re on holiday With a gateway you can expand your system to up to 100 devices (light sources and steering devices) in total. We continuously upgrade the TRÅDFRI app with more functions and possibilities, so make sure to check for updates from time to time.

Voice controlStep into the future with voice controlled lighting. Our lights are compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri via Apple’s Home app. To get started, open up the IKEA TRÅDFRI app to link the assistant of your choice.

IKEA SMART LIGHTING – STEP BY STEP

It’s easy to get started with IKEA Smart lighting. Begin by think-ing about what you will be doing in the room, what kind of light you need and what you want the lights to do. It’s usually best to mix function lighting (like a reading lamp) with mood light-ing (like a dimmable floor lamp). Follow the steps below to get started...

1. What do you want your lights to do?

DimIf you only want to be able to dim your lighting, choose a com-plete kit that includes a wireless dimmer and 1 LED light bulb with a warm white light (2700 kelvin). The TRÅDFRI LED driver allows you to wirelessly dim your OMLOPP, IRSTA, STRÖMLINJE, VAXMYRA and NORRFLY integrated lighting.

Dim and change from warm to cold lightIf you want to dim your lighting and gradually change from warm to cold light, choose a complete kit that includes a remote control and 1 LED light bulb with a white spectrum.

Dim, change from warm to cold light or between different coloursIf you want to dim your lighting and gradually change its colour, or change from warm to cold light, choose a complete kit that includes a remote control and 1 LED light bulb with a colour and white spectrum.

Good to know

Can only be controlled with IKEA Smart lighting products. IKEA Smart products are based on the ZigBee protocol. May not be used with wired dimmers.

IKEA smart products have a range of 10 metres when not blocked by any walls. This range can be extended with any IKEA Smart product. If there is a larger distance than 10 metres between two smart products, you can place TRÅDFRI signal repeater in between the two IKEA Smart products to extend the signal.

If you want to buy a LED light panel:܊ Don’t forget to add an FÖRNIMMA power supply cord

(needed only if you want to buy a door or if you want to install a panel on the wall.)

– Complete with FÖRNIMMA intermediate connection cord if you want to connect more LED light panels. It’s possible to add up to 10 products in one installation.

– When using the TRÅDFRI LED driver for integrated lighting, flashing lights indicate that the maximum wattage of the LED driver is exceeded.

Always check what maximum wattage your lamp is adapted to, so that you can choose a suitable TRÅDFRI light bulb.

With TRÅDFRI drivers for wireless control (10 and 30W), all our integrated lighting series can be connected to IKEA smart lighting and steered through the TRÅDFRI remote control or IKEA Home smart App.
