• Pre & Post Hospitalization Expenses• Domiciliary Hospitalization Expenses

Pre & Post Hospitalization Expenses

Pre and Post Hospitalization expenses are covered for a maximum period of 30 days each, beyond hospitalization:

• Post Hospitalization expenses, limited to 7% of the total hospitalization expenses (excluding Room Rent), subject to a maximum of Rs. 7,500

• Nursing expenses during pre and post hospitalization periods if a qualified nurse is employed on advice of the medical practitioner

• Ambulance charges, subject to maximum Rs 750

Domiciliary Hospitalization Expenses

Domiciliary hospitalization refers to medical treatments that would normally require hospitalization, but for various reasons (specified in the policy), are taken at home. This feature has the following covers:

• Expenses up to a sub-limit of 20% of the sum insured• For medical treatment at home that exceeds 3 days• Ambulance charges (if required)• Daily allowance (based on policy)
