My role is in part to meet with the proposed 911 center management staff, county boards, city council, e911 council; educating city officials on the integration, and then I work with the e911 center(s) to install hardware, configure networks, and deploy to the WVDOH ATMS system. My role in the facility is still utilized today with daily interaction with the client, training support of new employee’s, and new project assessment, and implementation. Network/Systems Engineer—West Virginia 511 I designed, configured, and managed the West Virginia DOH 100MB fiber network. I also designed, configured, and implemented an IPVPN from the WVDOH TMC to the West Virginia Turnpike Authority, to facilitate application, device and information sharing. I designed and implemented the WVDOH ITS Mesh network, incorporating four remote facilities across the state utilizing a single centralized redundant system. I desiged the network portion of the state 511 system that deployed in the fall of 2012. I am responsible for the administration of a statewide web-based application, working closely with development staff, the hosting vendor on maintenance and issue resolution. I am responsible for administration of ITS applications, servers, database, desktops, and network for performance, reliability, and stability for Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). I also provides 24x7 support and on-site functional expertise on systems. I conducts routine server, database and network equipment configuration backups, and documents and reports on all system/network hardware and software uptime, outages, and upgrades to VDOT and ORCI management personnel. I participate in monthly configuration control board meetings with members of VDOT, and Open Roads to discuss future enhancements and upgrades to the current STC central system. I work with various VDOT contractors and

maintenance personnel troubleshooting and supporting dialup and broadband communication from CCTV cameras, VMS, and weather station devices back to the TOC central system.

Network Administrator/Project Coordinator

I was responsible for setup and maintenance of workstations on multiplatform windows 2000/2003 environment. I performed the day-to-day maintaining and managing of Exchange 2000, file servers, print servers, SQL and SQL 2005, LAN and WAN network with mixed hardware Cisco pix 515E, 501, 506 and Watchguard X500 solutions, Configuring Point to point VPN’s, IPSEC Configuration, ATM, and GRE configuration. I generated Crystal Reports and daily report reviews. I was responsible for hardware and software purchases while maintaining a business relationship with vendors and for the network and server functions for various satellite sites.

Technical Analyst of Client Support Services

I provided first-, second-, and third-level technical support exclusively to Compaq clients. I functioned as team lead within customer relations management team. I facilitated user training, manages troubleshooting, and assisted in upgrades and installations.
