Relationship between Lyrics and Visuals

From the beginning of the video, when the singing starts, the relationship between the lyrics and visuals carries on throughout the entire video. This is due to the visuals following a narrative story created by the lyrics.

Examples:

‘them girls are showing body’

‘you ate so much you nearly split your pants’

‘come sit next to me you fine fellow’

Relationship between music and visuals

The

The main relationship I could see between music and visuals is the dancing throughout. The dancing goes to the beat of the song. I feel this is trying to show that dancing is the way to impress girls in this period of time.

The record label and its needs for many Close ups

The record label for this artist and video is Delicious Vinyl and Rhino Records. There are a few close ups of Young MC, but not many to make me feel they are trying sell the artist for promotional gain. I think at the time, Young MC was well known.
