SCOUTS, CHURCH SPONSOR BLOOD DRIVENORTH HAMPTON | The American Red Cross Com-
munity Blood Drive is set for Friday, June 23, from 2-7p.m. at the United Church of Christ, located at 295Atlantic Avenue in North Hampton.
The blood drive is sponsored by the Boy Scout Troop162 and the Health and Wellness Committee of the NorthHampton United Church of Christ.
Donor requirements include a valid picture ID in theform of either a Red Cross Donor card or a governmentissued picture ID, or two other forms of positive ID. Thereare other standard requirements for giving blood —donors must be at least 17 years old and must weigh atleast 110 pounds; and it must be 56 days since they lastdonated.
Before giving blood donors are encouraged to eat anourishing meal within four hours of donating, drinkplenty of liquids (water, juice, or milk) and get a goodnight’s rest. Food and refreshments will be available onsite donated by local eateries and businesses.

HAMPTON FALLS | AMassachusetts man wasarrested last Saturday after-noon for allegedly flashing aBB gun at another driverduring what state policebelieve was a road rage inci-dent.
At approximately 1:38p.m. on June 10, New Hamp-shire State Police received areport alleging the driver ofa white vehicle with Mainelicense plates had pointed ablack handgun at anotherdriver in a threatening man-ner. The incident occurredon the Spaulding Turnpikein Dover.
Trooper First Class DebraWinters later spotted thevehicle traveling south onInterstate 95 in HamptonFalls. A black BB gun, whichclosely resembled a largercaliber handgun, and aswitchblade knife werefound during the search ofthe car.
Anthony J. Paolucci, 18,of 12 Lafayette Street, Wake-field, Mass., was chargedwith possession of a con-cealed weapon and criminalthreatening.
Paolucci was released onbail and is scheduled forarraignment at Dover Dis-trict Court on July 25, at12:30 p.m.
Man arrested on gun charges

GREENLAND | ADerry woman was arrestedearly Monday after whatbegan as motor vehicleassist turned ugly.
At approximately 12:35a.m. state police stopped tocheck and assist a motorvehicle that was driving inthe breakdown lane ofInterstate 95 north inGreenland. The respondingtrooper determined that thevehicle’s operator wasimpaired.
Laurie Sullivan, 32, of 34High Street, Derry, was
placed under arrest forDWI.
While awaiting trans-port for Sullivan, the troop-er proceeded to conduct aninventory of the vehiclewhere he found a smallquantity of marijuana, drugparaphernalia and pre-scription pills that were notprescribed to Sullivan.
According to policereports, Sullivan repeatedlyattempted to interfere withthe trooper’s search andthen became combative andstarted kicking the trooper.While being physicallydetained Sullivan received

Sullivan was transport-ed to Portsmouth Hospitaland treated by a physician.While attempts were madeto handcuff her, she againallegedly kicked the officer.Sullivan was transported toRockingham County Jail toawait arraignment.
She was arraigned on
two counts of simpleassault, two counts of pos-session of a controlleddrug, transportation of acontrolled drug and dri-ving while intoxicated at 9a.m. on Monday atPortsmouth District Court.Sullivan was ordered heldon $5,000 cash and $5,000personal recognizance bail.A trial has been scheduledfor Wednesday, July 12, at 1p.m. at Portsmouth DistrictCourt.
