Bureau Veritas is well placed to support this new, leaner market. On the one hand we have invested in digital tools that speed up processes and help reduce costs through the asset lifecycle. On the other, we have developed new Rules that optimize ship operation, and are working on innovative projects that target efficiency. This has paid off in the form of new orders: for example, of the 10 new FPSO projects in 2018, Bureau Veritas is involved in five.

Environmental regulation top of mind

We have also invested in developing strong expertise in areas such as cyber security and sustainable shipping. This expertise is vital as environmental regulation is perhaps the single biggest challenge facing the marine industry in the next few years. If the IMO 2020 Sulfur Cap is the immediate concern keeping owners awake at night, the 2050 objective for a 50% cut in greenhouse gas emissions is looming fast. To reach it, we need to start working on solutions now.

Bureau Veritas is already a leader in LNG-fueled ships and the bunkering vessels that will be needed to take LNG mainstream, and has been proactive in developing notations for alternative fuels. In 2018 we had 60 LNG-fueled vessels on order.

We have set up a new Sustainable Shipping Center in China to support yards, in addition to our existing center of expertise in Paris.

”Marine and offshore markets are improving steadily

– but owners and operators want to maintain the efficiency

they’ve gained in recent years. Bureau Veritas is well-

positioned to help them meet that goal.”

We are among the few class societies to support owners planning to switch to low-sulfur fuel with laboratory testing in major ports, thanks to our diversified Group’s strength in Commodities. And we are involved in JIPs and commercial projects on forward-thinking hydrogen and wind projects.

For the business ahead

But environmental regulation is not just a compliance issue. If retrofits will benefit yards, they represent a major cost for owners. Increasing overall efficiency remains vital, and we are working intensively with the industry on ship optimization solutions.

This is one of the main areas of activity of our new entity, BV Solutions – Marine & Offshore. Offering technical advisory, asset management and assurance solutions for the shipping and offshore energy markets, BV Solutions – M&O represents a step change in how we do business. It takes us beyond compliance, enabling us to work in partnership with our clients to help them navigate market evolutions and be prepared for the business ahead. A good example of this is our Veristar AIM3D solution for offshore asset management and assurance, which we have used to create digital twins of floating units.

Meeting clients’ needs, around the clock

I am excited to be taking the helm of Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore at a crucial turning point for the industry.

One of the world’s oldest classification societies, Bureau Veritas’ hallmark for the past 190 years has been our ability to anticipate changes and help our clients move forward. We have invested in the right areas, and have the right structure in place to serve our clients’ needs.

Our clients have the confidence that we are there where they need us. This is why in this year’s Business Review we’ve chosen to showcase our global network and the tireless work it does for our clients around the world. I’m personally looking forward to leading this global, client-focused organization through a new economic cycle, and into a new era.

AT THE HELMFOCUSED ON INNOVATION

Matthieu de TugnyPresident Marine & Offshore Division

At the beginning of 2018, Marine and Offshore markets were only just emerging

from a brutal downturn: today, the tide has turned, with many owners and operators

cautiously optimistic. In Marine, this optimism is translating into new orders, driven by gas

carriers and cruise ships; the two most closely-watched segments, bulk and container, are regaining their footing.

In Offshore, break-even prices for new projects have fallen and we expect to see

the trickle of new FPSO and FSRU projects seen in 2018 continue into 2019.

But this is not a return to the boom years. Ship owners and offshore operators rode

out the downturn by increasing efficiency: going into the recovery, they remain

focused on keeping costs down.

ITYTime is running out for owners to

comply with IMO’s Global Sulphur Cap, due to come into force January 1, 2020. This regulation aims to limit emissions from shipping by reducing sulfur content in fuel. To achieve compliance, owners must choose a range of solutions, often weighing upfront conversion costs against longer-term gains.

The Sulphur Cap represents the first step in IMO’s long-term plan to improve the environmental performance of shipping. By 2020, ships will no longer burn high sulfur fuel without gas cleaning equipment. By 2030, vessels should reach 40% carbon reduction, and by 2050, the global fleet must achieve a 50% reduction in GHG emissions.

Asset safety and cyber protection are high priorities for owners, as their

units become increasingly connected. The risk of data theft and

operational sabotage is growing, and many owners need help

protecting their assets. To help clients implement cyber

security measures and manage risk, Bureau Veritas issued new cyber

notations, CYBER MANAGED and CYBER SECURE.

THREE ROUTES TO REDUCING SULFUR EMISSIONS

To steer shipowners through the 2020 fuel transition, Bureau Veritas provides clients with in-depth knowledge of IMO regulations, some of the most comprehensive Rules in the industry and Ship Implementation Plans. There are three main paths to compliance.

Burning blended fuels with sulfur content below 0.5% is a clear solution, albeit with concerns from owners over future price and availability. Bureau Veritas’ fuel testing laboratories enable owners to confirm fuel quality.

For newbuildings, many owners are investing in LNG propulsion, which reduces both sulfur oxides and greenhouse gases. Other solutions include LPG, methanol, electric and hybrid-powered vessels. Bureau Veritas offers numerous notations covering alternative fuels, and detailed guidance on preparing ships for future LNG conversion and electric propulsion.

Exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubbers) are a good option for in-service vessels under 15 years old. By removing pollutants from exhaust gas, scrubbers can lower sulfur emissions and remove particulates. Although open-loop scrubbers, which produce wash water discharge, are banned in several ports, they remain a viable option: owners can switch to marine gasoil in those areas.

NOTATIONS

Raising cyber security standards

Following the launch of three notations and guidelines in 2017, Bureau Veritas reinforced protection in 2018 with two new cyber notations. CYBER MANAGED applies to vessels that undergo regular, manually-operated cyber security checks, while CYBER SECURE designates ships with an automated set of onboard cyber security procedures. Bureau Veritas signed its first contract to provide CYBER MANAGED notations for 40 bulk carriers, with several contracts pending for fleets of 15-100 ships, including LPG carriers.

AUTONOMOUS

Expertise for self-piloting ships

Bureau Veritas is at the forefront of smart ship innovation. In 2019, our experts in Piraeus and Paris will provide an AIP for a fully autonomous, military personnel-carrying vessel for the Hellenic navy. The vessel will use electric propulsion provided by solar-charged batteries and have a two-person emergency crew. The design is being developed by Danaos Management Consultants.

Bureau Veritas will also conduct cyber risk analyses within an EU H2020 project called the Vessel Train. This JIP supports a new waterborne transport concept, and will be finished in 2021.

DYNAMIC POSITIONING

Groundbreaking partnerships

Bureau Veritas has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Bourbon for several initiatives, including a Smart DP System project. This application is currently being tested on the Bourbon Explorer 508, with a pilot planned for 2019. Our experts will also provide risk analysis and AIP for a remote-controlled survey vessel for a UK-based engineering company.

VERIFUEL Equipping clients for the futureA subsidiary of Bureau Veritas, VeriFuel provides residual and distillate marine fuel quality assessments and offers technical advice for safe fuel use. Bureau Veritas in Canada is spearheading a push towards clean propulsion: thanks to the work of North American and Paris teams, the number of all-electric and hybrid-electric newbuildings has grown throughout the region. Meanwhile, our US teams continue to support offshore safety, while leaning into the cruise market.

PASSENGER SHIPS

Leading clean propulsion

Today, Bureau Veritas Canada teams are discussing progress by Damen Shipyards, Romania, on construction of two electric ferries for Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation. The Amherst Island and Wolfe Island will be delivered in 2020 and 2021 respectively, and will achieve speeds equaling conventional propulsion while reducing environmental impact.

Bureau Veritas was also chosen to class two dual-fuel Ro-Ro cargo ships, a continuation of the Seaspan series, built by Damen in Romania. This commission comes after a 17b CAD government investment to fight marine pollution and incentivize shipowners to improve vessels’ environmental performance.

OFFSHORE

Digital support for Verification

In 2018, Bureau Veritas won a Certified Verification Agency contract for a project in the Gulf of Mexico. Future verification projects can be managed via the cloud-based BV Compliance platform, launched in 2018. Welcomed by clients, the platform will be rolled out worldwide, enabling users to visualize risk, review Safety Critical Elements, and receive verification contracts.

CRUISE

Supporting a booming industry

The cruise and expedition industry continued to expand in the US, with 11.9m passengers* traveling last year. Lindblad Expeditions responded with a 2018 order for a BV-class coastal cruise expedition vessel to be built in Seattle, one of over 117 total cruise orders worldwide.

Setting global standards in IVB and decommissioning

The Bureau Veritas team in Aberdeen brings together experts in independent verification and decommissioning, providing services covering 46 assets for a total of eight UK clients. In 2018, it won its first contract with a global drilling contractor to provide inspection and verification services for nine rigs. Additionally, Bureau Veritas subsidiary MAC was appointed marine assurance and certification advisor for a field of four platforms and associated bridge links for a nine-year decommissioning project in Norway.

2018 also introduced Bureau Veritas’ Integrated Decommissioning Compliance Solution, a holistic offer covering portfolio planning, asset decommissioning and in-field delivery. Along with our updated decommissioning guidelines, this offer supports owners seeking safe, cost-effective decommissioning solutions.

NEWBUILDING

Promoting innovation and exploration

Bureau Veritas’ 370-strong staff in North Europe works with specialist shipyards in Norway, supporting the latest technological developments, and offering expertise in CAP and IHM.

Today, our experts are traveling to VARD’s Søviknes yard to assess progress on six Ponant exploration cruise ships under construction. The first two, delivered in 2018, will be joined by four sister ships by 2020. Bureau Veritas is also classing Ponant’s icebreaker cruise ship, an LNG-fueled and battery-powered vessel, to be delivered in 2021.

A major 2018 delivery was the Innovation, an RSD Tug 2513 for Kotug Smit Towage with impressive maneuverability. Bureau Veritas also received class transfers from new client World Marine Offshore for six offshore supply vessels from ESVAGT.

Africa was a hotspot in 2018 for offshore floating units. Bureau Veritas demonstrated classification leadership in the region and further afield: of the 10 contracts for FPSOs and FSRUs worldwide, we won contracts for five of the six newbuilds. Meanwhile, Bureau Veritas retained a 56% market share in classification of Spanish vessels, thanks in part to naval expansion.

“Bureau Veritas provided us with valuable support in another groundbreaking project: the Blue Eye

PAIN NAVAL

Reducing environmental impact

Naval expansion continues worldwide, with countries reinforcing their militaries through newbuilds and retrofitting. In 2018, Navantia delivered the fifth and sixth vessels in a series of 93-meter, 2,500 ton BAM, Buque de Acción Marítima ships for the Spanish Navy. Lighter than the first four, these MARPOL-compliant vessels feature diesel-alternating engines and sewage treatment plants, lessening their environmental impact. In parallel, Baleària ordered the world’s first high-speed dual-fuel LNG passenger and cargo ferry from ARMON in 2018.

CE INNOVATION

High-performance solutions to improve efficiency

At BV Solutions M&O, our forward-thinking teams are committed to finding innovative new approaches to optimize marine and offshore performance. Our Nantes team is working on OPTIROUTE, a project that aims to increase ship safety, reduce energy consumption and extend vessel lifetime by integrating ship responses to environmental conditions with weather routing software. BV Solutions M&O experts have developed CFD-based ship models, which account for performance, comfort and safety parameters, to predict the effects of sea and weather conditions on ship power and fuel consumption. A first model has already been created for a CMA CGM containership, and our experts are comparing the model’s response to actual voyage data.

CRUISE

World-class expertise for World Class vessels

Clients appreciate the technical expertise and responsiveness of our Paris teams. Today our surveyors are reviewing plans for the two World Class LNG dual-fuel cruise vessels at Chantiers de l’Atlantique, a 2018 order from MSC Cruises. These unique vessels feature alternative design for fire safety zones, lifeboat configuration and SRtP capability.

Construction is also underway for three additional BV-classed vessels in the Meraviglia series. The MSC Bellissima, the second in the series, underwent sea trials in December 2018 and was delivered in February 2019.

NAVAL

Classification services for military vessels

France is a hub for naval ship construction, both for domestic and foreign fleets. In July 2018, Naval Group delivered its fifth FREMM multi-mission frigate, Bretagne, to the French government, nine months after it concluded its first trials. Three more frigates have since been ordered.

2018 brought 14 naval ship deliveries from numerous shipyards, including Piriou, Kership, Socarenam and CMN. Bureau Veritas also won a classification contract for the Philippine Navy’s OPV270, a vessel with the world’s longest aluminum monohull, to be built by Ocea.

France is the historic home and center of innovation

for Bureau Veritas. The naval architects, surveyors, engineers

and specialists in the Paris Head Office provide daily support to

the Bureau Veritas offices worldwide.

In 2018, we debuted our technical branch, Bureau Veritas Solutions – Marine & Offshore, comprising

teams specializing in Engineering, Risk, Assurance and Regulatory

compliance advisory.

RULES

Providing knowledge and guidance

Bureau Veritas leads the way in rule development and research, pursuing internal initiatives and responding to client requests. During 2018, Bureau Veritas published new rules for the conversion of LNG tankers (NR 655) and the classification of FSRUs (NR 645). This development in classification applies to both marine vessels and offshore barges, straddling two types of engineering. We also created guidelines for deep-sea mining as part of the EU-sponsored Blue Nodules project, and responded to a request from an oil major for a new guidance note regarding CO2 capture and storage.

Optimizing survey planningIn 2019, Bureau Veritas will roll out Optimum Survey Planning, a comprehensive digital platform that helps shipowners schedule vessel surveys. Based on ship status, position, route and expert availability, the application offers shipowners optimal survey times and places. With several major clients piloting the app, and fleetwide availability planned, Bureau Veritas will leverage its global survey network to offer clients a fast and efficient booking system.

CE IN-SERVICE

Rapid response for the world’s largest ship owning community

The 14-strong in-service team headed by Mike Kasmas works tirelessly to ensure the operational safety of Greek-owned vessels, via surveys in Piraeus and abroad. Today, three surveyors are heading out to the Eurodignity, a Suezmax tanker that is transferring to Bureau Veritas class (pictured). The tanker is one of 78 Greek-owned vessels and over 560 ships around the world transferring to BV class in 2018. One of the biggest transfers of the year came from Star Bulk, which moved bulk carriers representing over a million GT to BV class.

BUREAU VERITAS SOLUTIONS

First full application of ESA

The team in Piraeus works closely with Bureau Veritas Solutions M&O teams in Paris and Nantes to deliver solutions for vessel optimization and safety. A recent milestone in this partnership and a first undertaken at a Chinese shipyard, was the application of the Elastic Shaft Alignment (ESA) Notation for a series of four bulk carriers performed at the request of Alpha Bulkers, a major forward-thinking and safety conscious operator. Our team completed a series of advanced analyses, studying the elasticity and deformation of hull structures, and their impact on ship operations. Using Bureau Veritas Solutions’ bespoke methodology, our Nantes team completed advanced ESA analyses while experts in Piraeus created the complete ship finite element model in a limited timeframe.

NEWBUILDING

Plugging in to the global network

Technical expertise is one of the most competitive strengths of the BV Piraeus office. Our team in the Hellenic Approval office, spearheaded by Dr. John Kokarakis, are providing needed technical guidance to the Greek market.

The Hellenic Plan Approval Office is the largest in Bureau Veritas’ 17-strong network, as Greek owners are highly active, both in newbuilding orders and modifications to their existing fleet. With 42 ships representing 2.75m GT currently under construction for Greek ship owners, including 29 ordered in 2018, one of the main roles of the team in Piraeus is to liaise with Bureau Veritas teams in the Far East. They act as the eyes and ears on the ground in shipyards, enabling the Piraeus team to keep owners up-to-date on progress.

This close follow-up and reputation for strong technical support enabled Bureau Veritas to benefit from a move by Greek tanker owners into LNG carriers. It won orders from owners including Capital Shipping, TMS Cardiff Gas and Alpha Gas, in addition to a VLCC from Springfield and bulk carriers from Star Bulk, Laskaridis Shipping, Aegean Shipping Management, Chartworld and more.

The Piraeus Marine Center is a crucial hub for Bureau Veritas activity, supporting in-service ships worldwide. Our experts are available 24/7, responding to the operational needs of the world’s biggest cluster of shipowners and managers. Around 1,100 ships – a third of the Bureau Veritas classed fleet – are handled by our team in Piraeus.

“Greek shipping company owners are very demanding. Knowing that I have a supportive network standing by my side is really important. If I need a surveyor in a port, for example, I know I’ll have one there in six or 12 hours. Whenever I need Bureau Veritas, they’re right there to solve any problem.”

Antonis Faraklas, Managing Director, Charterwell Maritime SA & Chartworld Shipping Group

“The outcome for us is confidence. Bureau Veritas has the unique capability to apply 3D FE modeling and the sophisticated calculations to get this right.”

Constantine Manoudakis, Technical Director, Alpha Bulkers

Digital IHM complianceAs owners around the world geared up for the EU Ship Recycling Regulation (EU SRR), Bureau Veritas developed a user-friendly digital reporting tool. The app offers a seamless way to create an Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) and move through the reporting process towards compliance.

China remains a leader in global construction, with numerous orders across ship types. In particular, 2018 saw a significant increase in orders for LNG-fueled vessels as the shipping industry tends towards cleaner energy. Bureau Veritas is working hard to support clients’ China-based newbuilds and a growing in-service fleet of 244 ships through a network of seven offices with over 375 staff members.

OFFSHORE

Emerging recovery in floating units

Bureau Veritas’ involvement in half of all FPSO and FSRU projects in 2018 kept our teams in China busy. Gasfin Development ordered an FSU from Jiangnan Shipyard, and SBM Offshore ordered two hulls from SWS as part of their Fast4ward™ program, which standardizes, accelerates and lowers the cost of FPSO construction. At the same time, state-run energy giant CNOOC has awarded a contract to CSIC-affiliated Beihai Shipbuilding Industry for the construction of an FPSO to be classed by Bureau Veritas.

This morning, experts in our Shanghai office are heading to Jiangnan Shipyard to carry out inspections for the classification of the world’s biggest dual-fuel ultra-large containerships. This series of nine ships was ordered by CMA CGM;

the first two are currently under construction. They will carry 22,000 containers each, a 2.7% increase over the biggest containerships currently in operation. Furthermore, these vessels will feature state-of-the-art GTT's Mark III Flex membrane tanks, which allow for efficient bunkering.

The cryogenic tanks, which represent a capacity of 18,600 m3 per vessel, will also be fitted on these ships’ associated LNG bunkering vessel.

GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane insulation system optimizes space, allowing a maximum usage of cargo capacity. The Hudong-Zhonghua shipyard has almost completed the steelwork on this vessel for client Total and owner MOL, and are preparing for tank construction.

To continue offering optimal support both for China’s booming ship construction industry and encourage the rapid development of the LNG sector, in 2018, Bureau Veritas opened our Sustainable Shipping Competence Center in Shanghai.

CRUISE

First newbuilds for booming industry

Bureau Veritas won a 2018 contract to class China’s first ever cruise ship newbuild. CMHI Jiangsu is constructing an ice-class expedition vessel for SunStone, with two further ships already confirmed. In response to China’s growing demand for cruise and passenger ships, Bureau Veritas opened a Passenger Ships Competence Center in Shanghai to supervise projects and support surveyors.

APPROVAL EXPLORER Locating equipment and suppliersTo improve our clients’ digital experience in 2018, Bureau Veritas launched the Approval Explorer application. This digital tool enables ship owners and operators to locate equipment manufacturers, as well as approved service suppliers in ports around the world. It is already winning client approval, receiving more than 4,000 connections per month.

The Marine market continued its upward trend in 2018, with new orders placed across segments. Shipowners have shown continued enthusiasm for LNG, placing significant orders for gas carriers and LNG bunkering vessels. The containership, bulk carrier, offshore wind, tug and naval segments saw improved conditions, with cruise and ferries providing a strong newbuilding highlight. Orders for hybrid and electric vessels increased, a testament to the industry’s drive to reduce vessels’ environmental impact.

“We contacted Bureau Veritas to ensure our winterization testing solution met the Polar Code’s new set of guidelines and regulations. Beyond just consulting on the testing procedure, Bureau Veritas can class and certify the system for us, as well.”

Atle Gundersen, Sales and Marketing Director, Roxel Products

particularly in LNG, making their input as

a classification society very valuable. We have

LNG CARRIERS

The backbone of global LNG infrastructure

Growing worldwide demand for LNG has resulted in a boost to construction of LNG carriers. Thanks to Bureau Veritas’ expertise and long history classing gas carriers, many shipowners chose us for their newbuildings. We are classing several vessels under construction mainly in South Korea, including 21 with capacity above 170,000 m3 equipped with the latest technologies available. At the end of 2018 Bureau Veritas' total orderbook stood at 25 units and the market share of 2018 orders slightly above 20% of the world orders.

ELECTRIC/HYBRID

Spearheading alternative propulsion

Hybrid and electric ships represented a growing trend in 2018, with particular bright spots in coastal shipping, passenger ships and offshore support vessels. In addition to classing Canada’s first all-electric ferries, Bureau Veritas classed the Wind of Change, Louis Dreyfus Armateurs' award winning SOV. The ship is powered by an innovative hybrid-electric configuration - managed on a DC grid, to increase efficiency. This significantly reduces both fuel consumption and air emissions. As environmental regulations become stricter, our experts will continue to offer a range of services and notations for hybrid and electric vessels through 2019 and beyond.

POLAR

Arctic expertise across segments

Arctic navigation offers exciting opportunities, while presenting a unique set of challenges for vessels of all types and sizes. In 2018, Bureau Veritas provided classification of the first Arctic expedition cruise ship built in China, to be delivered to SunStone in 2019. We also classed the first LNG carrier with both ICE CLASS 1A SUPER and COLD notations for Anthony Veder.

Meanwhile, Bureau Veritas’ work on the Yamal LNG train continues apace, with five more 172,000 cbm LNG carriers delivered in 2018 for MOL, Dynagas and Teekay. Thanks to our experience and in-depth knowledge of IMO’s Polar Code, Bureau Veritas was also able to publish Guidelines for in-service vessels operating in Polar waters (NI 650) in mid-2018.

The Offshore industry is once more finding its feet in 2018, with further growth forecast for 2019. In 2018, we saw approximately 100 global offshore oil & gas projects achieve Final Investment Decision (FID) approval, compared to 60 and 40 in the previous two years. With some stability in the oil price and the reduced costs achieved by the industry, this can only be positive for the Offshore market.

“Floating offshore wind power is a very

new technology, with only a handful of

prototypes in the world. We selected

Bureau Veritas for their technical

strength and expertise, their flexibility and ability to respond

quickly.”

Julien Simon, Design Manager Marine Energy, EDF Energies Nouvelles

“Bureau Veritas has been our classification society for FSRUs from the beginning. It’s been a great benefit to us to have a classification society that has been flexible and willing to work with us as the market evolves.”

Edward Scott, Chief Operating Officer, Excelerate Energy

AiP

Rising to innovative challenges

As worldwide gas infrastructure becomes increasingly innovative, deploying digital and high-tech solutions, Bureau Veritas is proud to be working on half of the world’s FSRU projects in 2018. We are pleased to contribute to a project for an FSRWP* vessel concept developed by Japanese FPSO specialist MODEC to address key global water and energy needs for a floating platform. In May 2018, we worked closely with MODEC and drew on our strong network in Africa to award Approval in Principle for this new offshore unit design.

OFFSHORE WIND

Developing innovative SOVs

As development of offshore wind industry has grown, so has the need for service operations vessels (SOVs) and crew transfer vessels (CTVs). 2018 brought Bureau Veritas twenty-two class transfers and twelve newbuilds, including six SOVs class transfer from ESVAGT and WMO Shipping in Denmark. Bureau Veritas classed the Wind of Change, a SOV for Louis Dreyfus Armateurs, built by Cemre (Turkey) and designed by Salt Ship (Norway). The vessel will be delivered in early 2019, and a second vessel, the Wind of Hope, was ordered in 2018. In Asia, our teams delivered two CTVs to Heron Marine in May, and another two to TIPC Marine in September and November.

In January 2019, Bureau Veritas published Note NI 572, a revised version of Rules for Floating Offshore Wind Turbines. Major changes include an updated list of recognized standards and rules, and new requirements for asset materials, structures and systems.

FPSOs

Developing relationships with FPSO leaders

In 2018, Bureau Veritas secured the Classification contracts for over 71% of FPSO newbuilds that were released for development. Bureau Veritas received contracts for both the Fast4Ward™ FPSO Hull, built in China for SBM Offshore and the Liuhua FPSO for CNOOC’s Hai Yang Shi You field, among others. Our teams also continued to reinforce our collaboration with SBM Offshore. Our relationship began in 2017, with Bureau Veritas reviewing the hull design for a Fast4Ward™ FPSO, and quickly evolved into a technical and commercial frame agreement covering classification, second party inspection and design assessment studies.
