Abstract:
To enhance performance of employees of organization, it is very important to
improve harmony, collaboration and team work to develop productive and
favorable relationship and lessen conflict among them because conflicts have a
significant negative impact on employee motivation. To establish the feasibility of
statement, sample of 450 individuals belonging to diverse Public and private
organizations was selected. Feedback form consisting of five parts sent directly to
the targeted sample. Part first relates to general information, second part consist
of questions that relates to relationship conflict ,third fourth and fifth part relates
to the role conflicts, task conflicts and performance of employees respectively.
The study shows that all type of conflict has significant impact on employee
motivation as well as on their performance. Their performances diminish ranging
between 00 percent and 00 percent due to conflicts. The results are significant atthe 95% of confidence level (p

Purpose.
The purpose of the study is to find out key impact that conflicts have on individual
motivation and organization performance. This study also entails that how the
conflicts arises and to be handled to keep the organization out of their adverse
effects. In this article our special focus is on private sector organization because in
todays dynamic and global environment private sector is contributing more than
that of any government organizations in economic growth of country.
Introduction.
Through last few decades there is a huge storm came into world economy it
originate from USA and then effected more or less almost every organization of
the universe either they are working nationally or globally every organization had
to face some of its adverse affects. That is the situation in which almost every
employee of organization is in greater stress no mater wether he is from top level
of organization or from middle or bottom level. It is foreseen reality that when
pressure comes from one domain it causes the pressure on other domains.
According to (afzal 2009) Stress pressure and unhappiness at work cause conflicts.Conflict is the situation in which there is a difference of objective, behavior and
perception (mack, 1965 as cited in afzal, 2009). Conflict is a disagreement about
issues between two or more persons, groups, nations and countries. It arise
because of difference of perception, ideas, behaviors, interests, attitudes,
religious, political issues and unfair distribution of resources (afzal 2009).it is notnecessary that conflicts had adverse effects only it may have positive impact on
organization or team performance. (Conflict is essential for life and dynamic for
team performance (Medina, et al., 2005: as cited in hasan afzal and imran 2009).
The key factor is its management if you are able to manage it positively it creates
a significant favorable situation otherwise it cause savoir distraction (Kigali, 2006;
as cited in hasan,afzal and imran ,2009 july). It has a greater impact on quality,
performance and profit of organization. Literature shows that conflicts are
divided into three basic types one is task related conflicts second relationship
related conflicts and the third is role base conflicts. Task conflicts: task conflict isone of the dimension of intergroup conflicts identified by ( Guetzkow and Gyr
1954 as cited in aslam, afzal and kashif ,2009). Task conflicts means difrence
between members of a team it may be opinion, ideas or decisional (aslam, afzal
and kashif, 2009) .differences of distribution of resources, procedures and
guidelines to do specific task, and the way facts are interpreted are the examples
of task conflict (Jehn, 1994, 1995; Dipaola and Hoy, 2001; Passos and Caetano,

2005:and cited in afzal,aslam and kashif 2009).Relationship conflict: Relationship
conflict or emotional conflict is an incompatibility between individuals moods,
emotions, personal norms values and taste. It arises because of difference in
perception, attitude and behavior that leads to miscommunication and failure to
mnage the relations exists in organization. And tend to result in annoyance,bitterness and jealousy (professional and personal) among individuals. Examples
of relationship. (medina,dorado,cisnisor,munduate and Martinez,2002)
Problem statement,
Today the studies shows a greater impact on employee performance is caused by
conflicts arise in organization. Almost every organization is facing this problem
which adversely affects its productivity and commitment between its employees.In this study primary objective is to find out that, how do conflicts affect
employee performances is under fire as well as e how these conflicts are
eliminated.
