guaranteewillbesetuptodelivertheBID.
TheWolverhamptonBIDCompanywillbegovernedbyaBoardofDirectorswho
willbedirectlyaccountabletoBIDlevypayersandwillberesponsiblefor
deliveringtheprojectsandservicesthataresetoutinthisBIDBusinessPlanand
maintainingtheBID’sobjectives.
Theboardwillberepresentativeofthemake-upofthebusinesswithintheBID
areaandwillrepresentallsectors.
TomakesuretheBIDisestablishedeffectivelythemembersoftheBIDTask
GroupwillserveastheBIDboardinthefirstyear.Insubsequentyearsanannual
electionwillbeheldwhereanylevypayingbusinesswillbeeligibletostandfora
positionofBoardDirector.

BID RulesBIDsaregovernedbytheBusinessImprovementDistrictRegulations2004,this
legislationsetsouttherulesunderwhichBID’scanoperate.
Establishing a BID Eacheligiblebusinessratepayerwillhaveonevoteperhereditamentprovided
theyarelistedontheNationalNon-DomesticRateslistasprovidedby
WolverhamptonCityCouncilon1stSeptember2014.
InordertoestablishaBIDthevotewillneedtobeforamajorityYesvoteinterms
ofnumbersandalsothosethatvoteYESwillhavetoalsorepresentthemajority
rateablevalue.OnceamajorityvotehasbeenachievedtheBIDbecomes
