Our client is an oilfield service and equipment company dedicated to helping clients maximize the value of their oil and gas assets. Headquartered in Europe, they currently operate in more than 100 countries across the globe and employ more than 55,000 people with revenues over us$ 10 billion.

With regional hubs in major energy producing areas such as Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Russia, and the United States, they have located people, resources and authority closer to our clients. This global yet local structure permits better understanding of local markets and risks, enabling them to provide more responsive, more focused and more adaptable service.

Right now in Argentina, we are looking for their General Manager. Argentina is well known for its hectic market and multiple variables affecting business development: labour law, importation restrictions, labor union, exchange rate and so on. This has, through time, affected our client´s plant production, compromising its worldwide supply chain as it is part of 16 other plants in the specific equipment and service they provide.

Making a turnaround of the plant´s production performance according to the company’s global standard is the major challenge to be addressed in this position. The ideal candidate will have proven experience on making a turnaround of performance indicators in a manufacturing plant, leading the organization to high levels of quality production and meeting the corporate expectations fulfilling internal and external client needs. It is important that the company encompass its production plan within the worldwide supply chain company production.

Specifically, we are seeking an individual with deep experience in manufacturing industries, who can foresee upcoming factors that may affect its plant´s performance and act accordingly as part of a global scale gear.

Our client is seeking for a general manager or a general manager to be, with more than 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role with no industry specific knowledge and complete understanding of manufacturing production/processes.
