In 2002 C.E.O Vincent Gebbia. established a relationship with a well known manufacture of electric scooters in the Zhejiang Province of China. Vincent began importing electric scooters and reselling / distributing them throughout the United States, business took off as Vincent began selling the scooters to entrepreneurs, mom and pop shops, and Big Box retailers such as Pep Boys®. The relationship with this manufacture would turn into a long term relationship which is still in its infancy today.

In 2010, Lianmei Group reached out to Vincent again with an exciting new offer to enter into the exciting Electric Bicycle market which had been gaining momentum in across the globe rapidly. Late 2011 the first prototype was being constructed, and after much consideration and changes to the prototype, an initial order was placed. Finally In 2013 Big Cat ® was born.

In the first 6 Months of operation and introduction to the North American Market, Big Cat ® sold nearly 200 Electric Bicycles, and established relationships with many retailers and authorized dealers across the United States.
