The new Outotec office in Jakarta, Indonesia was opened on 2 May 2013 and inaugurated by Mr Pertti Korhonen, CEO and President of Outotec, in the presence of customers, ministries and industry associations.

PRODUCT NEWS: HPGR SOLUTIONS

Outotec has extended its scope in comminution solutions and now offers an even larger portfolio including high pressure grinding rolls (HPGR). HPGR technology can be applied to various minerals processing applications where project feasibility demands lower energy consumption. Outotec HPGR solutions provide critical process, maintenance and training support.

With this technology, customers benefit from a proven product, advanced automation solutions, optimized process design and a rapid ramp-up period. HPGR technology can decrease energy consumption and influence the downstream processes, which can be seen in improved performance in the flotation, leaching, thickening and filtration circuits. This can be attributed to micro-cracks generated when the ore particles are exposed to high stresses in the HPGR compression zone between the counter rotating rolls.

Outotec HPGR services have also designed an efficient HPGR studded tyre for improved performance and reliability, which can be easily retrofitted to any machine, regardless of manufacturer or model. A wide range of Operate and Maintain and training services, as well as OEM spare parts for HPGR and the entire comminution circuit are also available.

PRODUCT NEWS: OUTOTEC-LAROX® FFP 3512After successfully introducing the Outotec-Larox® FFP 2512 pressure filter series for bulk mining applications, Outotec has again responded to the increasing demand for even higher capacity production requirements.
