    The young aspiring businessman hailing fromthe city of Sangam, Allahabad, Mr. Luvkush

    moved to Bangalore in the year 2009, with thedream of providing the Bangalorians the realtaste of Allahabads famous Golgappa .

    The business started with a small setupon the main road of Jayanagar, near thebus stop.

    He chose the location keeping in mindthe movement of the public as the bus

    stop is very near and many colleges andcompanies are also present in the samelocation.

    The business incurs a very nominalinvestment.Most of the ingredients are prepared at home.Mr. Luvkush purchases 8-10 kgs of wheatflour and approximately 2 kgs of potato andthe required spices depending on the regularsale.

    The profitability ratio is 50% to 60% ofthe total investment as told by Mr.Luvkush.

    Mr. Luvkush aims at making more and moreprofit by rendering quick and qualityservice.

    He has grown tremendously within thesetwo years by following his vision. Hisbusiness has grown three folds withintwo years. He has two more Golgappastalls in Brigade road and Jayanagar

    Market.

    Though Mr. Luvkush is not highly literate and notexposed to the management skills, he has

    unknowingly implemented the managementprinciples to meliorate his business.

    WASTE MANAGEMENTWastage happens only during rainy days and humidclimate.

    When asked about the wastage management ,Mr. Luvkush informed that certain ingredientslike potato and spices which are perishablecant be stored . But golgappas made of wheat flour canbe easily stored for a number of days.

    For other ingredients he covers the stall withan umbrella,and containers which againprotects the hyginiety.

    Mr Luvkush has adopted the low coststrategy but by adopting differentiationstrategy he can mould his business.

    We suggested him to serve the same

    golgappas in a innovative way byintroducing new flavours and taste to it.
