Programme Aim To provide the students with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to get to work in a business organisation. Programme Objectives To prepare students in the areas of management, trainee/manager, sales/sales management, personnel officer/manager and entrepreneurial opportunities. Outline Syllabus Business writing fundamentals. Principles of corporate social responsibility and ethics. Basic research skills to support business decision making. Human resource function skills. Financial principles to support the organisation operations. Principles of supply chain management and operations management. Components of a business plan. Basic entrepreneurial strategies to identify and respond to new opportunities. Training Method The focus of the training delivery concentrates on a balance of: Instruction Presentations Demonstrations Discussion Groups Giving And Receiving Feedback Training Facilities Course notes Facilities available in centres i.e projector when required, flipcharts, whiteboard etc. Assessment Method Weekly short assessment tests designed to fit with the course material Certification Those attending 75% of the Course will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. Programme Duration 10 nights, 3 hours per night.
