ABOUT NAVRACHANA UNIVERSITY
Navrachana University is a Private University established under
the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. The University has five
schools: School of Business and Law, School of Engineering and
Technology, School of Liberal Studies and Education, School of
Environmental Design and Architecture and School of Science.
We have around 27 programs across all the schools. The
University has embarked on a new educational paradigm that
lays simultaneous emphasis on disciplinary education,
inter-disciplinary education, professional education and
general education.
Working in close association with the industry and the
academic experts, right from the curriculum development stage
to student's projects, internships and work placements, School
of Business and Law at NUV offers several unique
undergraduate and postgraduate level programs in the field of
Management (BBA and MBA), Law (BBA-LLB 5yr Integrated Law
Program approved by BCI).

School of Business &
Law
Business and Corporate Law is an intellectually challenging
study of the constantly changing legal puzzles that face
businesses of all sizes and types. With Globalization,
Liberalization and the ever changing and evolving national and
international regulatory framework, knowledge and exposure
of laws affecting domestic and international businesses is
critical in thoroughly understanding the underpinnings of the
business, nationally and globally.

The Program prepares aspirants for a variety of practice areas,
including Business Transactions, Commercial Litigation,
Taxation, IPR, Labour law, non-profit law, and more. One who
pursue this program are encouraged to take a wide variety of
courses in various areas of commercial law as well as it helps,
the people who are into business in structuring and running
their business in a very systematic form by complying all the
legal requirements. With this intent, School of Business and
Law has started One Year Post Graduate Diploma Program in
Business and Corporate Laws for the students, entrepreneurs,
executives working in the corporate sector and others. The
programme consist of eight courses in two semesters:

ELIGIBILITY The minimum eligibility for applying for this programme is a graduate degree (in law or other field) from a recognized university.
Students with a degree certificate or its equivalent from any UGC-recognized university, Association of Indian Universities, CA, CS, ICWA, Open University/distance learning can apply.
There shall be no restriction as to age, nationality & employment status.

SELECTION PROCEDURE Based on Personal Interview
PROGRAMME PATTERN Semester - 1 & 2
FEE 25000/ for the entire program.
ASSESSMENT Internal Assessment 40 marks and End Exam 60 marks .
AWARD OF DEGREE/DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE PGD Business & Corporate Laws in India will be awarded at the end of semester II examination by taking into consideration the performance of all semester examination after obtaining minimum 4.00 CGPA out of 10 CGPA.
One must get minimum passing marks 40 in all the subjects

This course covers the business structure; the significance of contracts in a commercial and industrial context; the norms relating to various types of contracts, their formation, termination, breach, expiry and remedies available.
