Yuluma’s crest represents the cyclic nature of learning and growing. Explicit teaching builds student knowledge, skills and helps to shape positive attitudes. The cooperative culture is important for the development of the community. Learning and growing together underpins our approach to education.

LEARNING AND GROWING TOGETHER

Yuluma is a multicultural school community , with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our leafy green, purpose built site is enhanced by the sports oval, nature play area, community garden, Japanese garden, sporting facilities, play spaces and equipment. We have a state of the art Science Lab, Arts area, and wide range of technological resources. Yuluma’s focus on academic excellence is the anchor for the well rounded experience families can expect from our school.

CONTEXT

Our purpose is to promote the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of the students within the school. We will do this by using the natural environment, the physical resources, technological resources and the people that make up the school, to maximise student daily engagement and prepare them for the opportunities and experiences both now and in their future life.
