FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR’S DESK Holiday Greetings and Good Cheer to Each of you:

With Christmas just around the corner, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued partnership. Much of our success is due to your support, patience, compliancy with communal living and the policies of the home. It is a pleasure working with all of you throughout 2015 . As Christmas is a time for giving, we sometimes get approached by families and residents on types of “thank you gifts” for our staff. We do discourage monetary gifts however an item for the floor is always appreciated. More importantly, we truly just appreciate that you have chosen Villa Leonardo Gambin as your Long Term Care home.

It is so hard to believe that another year will once again come to a close. Every year has its challenges and we do appreciate your patience and willingness to work with us to enhance our care and services. May your holiday season and new year be filled with much joy, good health, happiness and success. Wishing you the blessings of the season and peace among all men.

Please join us at our holiday celebrations this month. They promise to be memorable and each activity and special event are organized in hopes of making a resident smile and enjoy!

UPCOMING EVENTS IN DECEMEBER

Catholic Mass will be held on Thursday December 3, 2015 and Thursday December 17, 2015 at 2:30pm in the

Multi Purpose Room. The blessing of Baby Jesus will take place during Mass on Thursday December 17, 2015.

Resident's Council will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at 3:30pm on Thursday December 3, 2015.

Our resident Christmas parties will be happening on the floors throughout December. Wednesday December 9 2015, the 4th and 5th floor will celebrate. On Tuesday December 15 2015, the 2nd and 3rd floor will celebrate and on Thursday December 17 2015, the 6th and 7th floor will celebrate. All parties are from 6pm-8pm. Families are encouraged to attend.

The Christmas Bazaar will be on Saturday December the 5th 2015, from 10am-3pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.

The Friuli Terrace Choir will be joining us in the Café for a performance on Saturday December 12th 2015, at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Breakfast with Santa is on the 13th of December from 11am-1pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. There will be a

delicious meal, pictures with Santa and craft stations for the children. Tickets are available at reception until

Monday December 7, 2015.

Our Monthly Birthday Party will be held with our New Years Eve party on Thursday December 31 2015 at 2pm in

the Multi-Purpose Room.
