Bunty and the missing gold earrings

Retold by Anupama Kumari,

Age 8 years old,

Marvel School, Hyderabad

Once upon a time, there was a boy called Bunty. He was 7 years old.

One day, when Bunty and his friends were playing, his Dadima came and

asked him,” Have you seen my gold earrings? I cannot find them. My eyes

have become old and weak and I cannot search for it.”

Bunty said,”I will search for it!”. Dadima said “You are a good boy,

Bunty!”

Bunty went and searched his house.

Then one girl came and asked Bunty,”Look at my earrings. Are they not

nice?”

Bunty knew it was his Dadima’s earrings. He said, “Please give me the

earrings. It is my Dadima’s. I will give you something nice in return.”

Then the girl gave the earrings back to Bunty.

Bunty went back to his house and gave it to Dadima. Dadima was very

happy. She said,”Thank you, Bunty. Here is a cycle for you because you

helped me. “

Bunty felt so happy.

He took the cycle and showed it to everyone.”

He took the little girl and went everywhere on the cycle. They had lots of

fun.
