Watershed Management Camp

Awareness programs were conducted in schools / Educational Institutions highlighting the threats to our environment like air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, deforestation, global warming, etc. The program also highlighted the resultant damage like drought, flood, melting of glaciers, depletion of the ozone layer, etc.

Every Indian has the right to the basic necessity of electricity - be it an individual from a metro city or from a village. Taking a step towards making this true, ACES in association with RENUKA EXPORTS PVT.LTD, distributed solar energy operated lanterns to the tribal's of Awam.

The Society organized a camp on water management. The Gram Pradhans were invited to this camp to consider the acute need of a watershed management program and how to manage the acute water crisis.

ACES has, under this project chosen some places in Amrohato plant and maintain trees. The Society is also educating people on the importance of planting trees. One house, one tree is the slogan for each individual to plant trees and is becoming an effective way to deal with Global Warming.
