About credits▪ Credits measure the effort required to complete and pass a
discipline
▪ 1 credit = 25 hours of activity including▪ Participation to courses, seminars and laboratories▪ Individual study
▪ Example: discipline with 2 hours course + 2 hours laboratory per week and 6 credits -> 6x25=150 hours▪ 28 hours participation to courses + 28 hours participation to
lab acrivities▪ 150-56=94 hours of individual study-> 6-7 hours / week for
each subject▪ The subjects of each semester accumulate 30 credits▪ At least 30 credits must be accumulated for the promotion to the
second year of (related to the mandatory subjects – the credits fro Sport and facultative topics are not included)

▪ To motivate the absences you have to submitte to the secretariat of thefaculty:▪ Request addressed to the dean specifying the disciplines to which
he / she was absent and the reason for not participating in activities
▪ Evidence▪ medical certificates▪ certificates of participation at events / actions in the interest of
the institution
▪ If you cannot attend, for good reasons, a laboratory / seminar you should contact the titular teacher to obtain permission to participate at the activity together with another subgroup

▪ 2/3 free presentations during the current academic year (A-I / B-I, A-II / B-II, C) - some changes might be decided concerning session C
▪ Presentations (with fee) in the sessions of arrears of the following university years - provided that the minimum requirements regarding the presence and activity during the semester (homeworks, projects, etc.) were met
▪ Recontracting▪ The non-promoted discipline must be re-contracted if the teacher
