Bum Marketing. 

  

LOL, I was laughing at my desk when I heard that there was an internet 

marketing strategy called “Bum Marketing”. 

You probably want to know what this is all about and if you can take this 

method and make money for yourself. 

The truth is that bum marketing is one of the easiest paths you can walk 

because it requires very little financial investment and utilizes the power of 

websites that are already getting traffic. 

Of course this is not a get rich quick or overnight millionaire money making 

adventure. 

However, when you sharpen the right skills and apply them in the right way 

you can surely begin to see results with your affiliate marketing. 

  

Have you heard of article marketing? 

  

Well, bum marketing is very similar. 

Both of these kinds of internet marketing are based on learning how to use 

articles to generate traffic back to your blog or affiliate site to persuade the 

visitor to click or take action by giving an email or buying. 

  

Very simple and straight forward. 

How to be successful with bum marketing? 

What really determines your ability to pull in leads to your website is really 

the quality of your article. 

If you are just copy and pasting someone elses article to a site, you will be 

quick to fail. 

Or if you think that you can just spin an article for fast success then you are 

poorly mistaken. 

It is important to take your time and give great care to your content. 

This will come across to your reader and give them an extra boost of 

motivation to click over to your affiliate marketing site or blog. 

  

The key is to think like the audience you are looking to reach. 

  

If you want to sell food at a baseball game, it would but dumb to invite 

people over of a meal that takes 20 minutes to prepare. 

People want fast quality with a little entertainment. 

So don’t give your neighbors a bought pie. 

Learn to bake your own pie, bettering yourself and impressing your peers. 

  

Do you see where I am going will this? 

  

Take care of your readers because they will pay your bills and give you 

your freedom lifestyle. 

  

 

 

Finding the balance between quality and quantity bum marketing. 

If you are serious about using this fun, yet highly lucrative strategy for long 

term mlm success then, again, think about how you are 

influencing/affecting your audience. 

If you are throwing articles out there that are quick and not quite the best 

work you can publish, then you will start to accumulate a great following at 

first. 

However your readers will catch on that you are not 100% committed to 

their problems and will stop reading your half assed content. 

It is critical that you focus on building an audience based on quality articles. 

It is far better for you and your readers if you take 2 or 3 days (depending 

on your time availability) to create a better article. 

Of course you can make any article in an hour when you learn to sharpen 

your skills and should strive to get your homework done as soon as 

possible, yet get all the answers right. 

Quality articles not only generate more traffic to your website, but increase 

your conversion rates with the traffic that you do get. 

  

The disadvantages of bum marketing. 

Although you can get started using bum marketing with little investment 

and no overhead, there is a major flaw in this technique. 

You can NOT easily attract visitors to your site through search engines 

without YOUR OWN website. If you are selling a product by X company, 

and a customer types in something related to what you are selling… 

What will happen is your competitors will show up and take your traffic. 

This takes your success ratio from certainly great… to slim at best. 

  

Should you rely on bum marketing for your internet marketing success? 

In the long term of your new found business, bum marketing does not make 

for a super successful campaign. 

The key is to combine this strategy with another strategy that will allow you 

to recruit reps into your network marketing business. 

By using bum marketing as a stepping stone you can lead this into more 

powerful and personal methods. 

  

For example… 

  

You could ask people to connect with you on Facebook, then using social 

media to get to know your prospect personally and present your solutions 

in a way that suits their needs. 

OR use the bum marketing sites you post on to link to your blog and have 

link juice flow to your main blog posts so that they rank higher in the 

search engines overcoming your competitors in actual search results. 

However you use bum marketing to start your business, just understand 

that it is meant to lead you into something better and greater.
