common?
What is bullying?
Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior and intentional hurt because someone is more powerful than another
-It must me intentional-The mistreatment will occur more than once, and it will be hurtful

-Hitting, slapping, elbowing, shouldering (slamming someone with your shoulder) Shoving in a hurtful or embarrassing, stealing, damaging or
defacing belongings or ot things-Name calling, Insulting remarks, Racist remarks or other harassment
Every 7 seconds a kid gets bullied
and usually doesn’t tell an
adult or teacher.
But together we can stop it!
What can you do to stop bullying?
-Don’t blame yourself. Bullies bully because they feel powerful, they may be hard on the outside, but on the inside they may be soft as a pillow
-Don’t be afraid to get help. Sometimes its good to talk to someone else about your problems. Just because your talking to someone doesn’t mean there is something
wrong with you.-Be proud of who you are. No matter what a bully says there are wonderful things and qualities about you. Keep those in mind instead of the disrespectful messages you get
from the people who are bullying you.
If you follow these guidelines we can
stop bullying!
I Used To Think But Now I Think
I used to think that bullying was hurting someone physically. Now I think that bullying is any way of hurting someone. I used to think that that
the bully bullied because he was raised wrong. Now I think that a bully bullies because he feels powerful or to make him look good and so much more. I used to think when a kid got bullied he got over it in a day or two. Now I think that it last years and sometimes life. I used to think only teens
bully. Now I think that all ages bully.
