Bulletin No-2 01 st SEPTEMBER, 2019 LCBM activities conducted in August 2019 Lions club of Baroda main always on the front to help the needy. Baroda received 18 inches of rain on 31st July and was paralyzed by this natural calamity. Entire Vadodara city and district was under grip of water. Many citizens lost their houses, utensils and grains Our Lions Club of Baroda (Main) came out with food packets to be distributed. We prepared more than 50000 food items full of protein and energy and packed in environment friendly paper boxes and distributed to neediest. We gave pureebhaji, sukhadi pure ghee, biscuits etc. to thousands of neediest. They even formed human chain to see that all neediest get the food. Smile on their faces on receiving is worth a million-dollar smile. We coordinated with NDRF and SDRF and reached to the most remote areas. Here are few glimpses of efforts of our members. Bulletin No-2 01st SEPTEMBER, 2019 LCBM activities conducted in August 2019

Lions club of Baroda main always on the front to help the needy.

utensils and grains Our Lions Club of Baroda (Main) came out with food packets to be

distributed. We prepared more than 50000 food items full of protein and energy and packed

03.08.2019 Our DG came and helped us to distribute food packets to

people who needed it the most in Chapad village, where there

was no electricity, food and water. We distributed around 500

food packets.

04.08.2019 Went to the flood affected areas of Koteshwar and Kashi village

where NDRF and SDRF teams helped us to reach to the most

remote areas with their boats to distribute food packets.

06.08.2019 Along with VMC, our LCBM team of doctors participated in a camp

at DashamaMandir, Gorwa to distribute medicines. Mayor Dr.

Jigeeshaben visited and appreciated the camp.

with RJ Puja, for Mirchi Tree Idiot campaign,explaining how

visually handicapped feel about the green environment.

18.08.2019 Organized the screening of the movie Mission Mangaland lunch

at the Mandap Restaurant for the fellowship members and

members participated in large numbers.

Dinner, Corn Festival.

FREE homeopathy camp FOR NEEDY

We are going to restart our homeopathy clinic at blindhome. We are thankful to our PP Lion

Dr Yogesh shah & PP Ln Gaurang Pandya for their efforts.

CANCER AWARENESS posters

With the active participation of our member Lion Dr Hemant Sant , we could design 4 posters

on childhood and adult cancer awareness in two languages. We will unroll the posters for

public awareness.

We have invited Mr.ROHIT MEHRA Green Man of Punjab on Environmental project

There will be three parts of the event.

1. Live workshop with teenagers on seed balls at Baroda high school.

2. Panchvati tree plantation at public places

3. Demo and lecture on economical vertical garden
