Literature Heartwood Institute: Building Character Kit: Pre-K/K! The series identifies seven character building attributes: Courage, Loyalty, Justice, Respect, Hope, Honesty, and Love. The series has chosen books to help address and support each attribute. (Books are listed on bibliography page with other books used.)
