Annual Workshop Sessions, BCMC and Chapters

Not sure what to feature at your next chapter meeting? Take on one of the BCMC topics! The educational sessions at BCMC are designed to provide members with the latest information on industry issues and trends. And the best part is – even if you are personally unable to attend each BCMC session, you can still take part in the discussion. Think of it like this:

Platinum Level Option: Obviously, the best option is to attend BCMC, the Workshops AND chapter meetings. Come to BCMC each year and hear the news, participate in the Annual Workshop sessions online, and then bring the issues back to your next chapter meeting.

Mix and Match Option:The reality is that not everyone will attend BCMC this year, but you can do your best to encourage your chapter members to (1) attend the show, and then (2) attend your chapter meeting to fill everyone in on what they missed. Likewise, not everyone has attended the Workshop sessions, but those who have can be called upon to share what they’ve learned. Each Workshop session has been tied to a BCMC 2009 or 2010 topic, so there can be discussion and feedback year-round. We’ll continue this practice into 201l, too!

Second Chance Opportunities: Are you kicking yourself for missing the July Workshop, Lean + Six Sigma = Results, or the August Workshop, Design Loads and Decoding the Codes? Recorded versions of these sessions, complete with the Q&A portions, are available. You’re welcome to ask the presenters your own follow-up questions, too. Also, mark your calendar for the final Workshop in this year’s series, The Best of the Best from BCMC, on Wednesday, October 27 at 2 pm Eastern/11 am Pacific.

We’re Here to Help If you would like assistance turning any of the BCMC or Workshop session topics into chapter meetings, just let us know. Keep in mind that both chapter members and guest speakers can attend from the convenience of their offices when your chapter meeting is held online with SBC Connection.
