YEAR MODEL: 1982

BACKGROUND: In September 2011 this property was brought to the attention of the Code

Enforcement Department due to the mobile home being vacant and

receiving information that men were allegedly seen occupying the

structure after dark. The Fire Marshal’s office found peep holes in the

doors of the mobile home and suspect there is illegal activity taking place

by individuals not residing at this property. Staff also found open

storage, tall grass and inoperable vehicles on the property. Due to the

dilapidated state of the mobile home, the case was referred to Building

Services and Fire Marshal for complete assessment.

During its meeting on June 25, 2012, Commissioner’s voted to accept

staff’s recommendation that this building is unsafe and issued an order

that the structure be secured within 7 days, and that the owner, lienholder

or mortgagee return to the Commission at the next scheduled meeting

with a plan for repairs.

On July 6, 2012 prospective renters attempted to have the power turned

on to move into this home. The request for power was denied.

As of September 12, 2012, no plan for repair has been submitted to City

staff.
