To realize the mission and guidelines for the Wynnewood Health Center, a committee for
overseeing the philosophy of care has been created; this committee decided on a list of priorities
to ensure the success of the facility.
ignity and respect for clients is a must A safe and therapeutic plan of treatment is devised Support research and development for many illnesses Meet or exceed the standards of the Center of Oklahoma Department of Health
and Welfare
Involvement of a clients family to individualize treatment
Utilization of a multi-disciplinary team approach to health care A less restrictive environment is encouraged Provision of a bio-psychosocial, spiritual, and educational assessments Provision of educational opportunities for his or her illness Encouragement of clinical research
As the new administrator of the Wynnewood Health Center, I will dedicate myself and
my staff to the provision of total health care to patients and their families. Many specialized
health care services and doctors are on staff to provide comprehensive, progressive services, and
care needed by the patients. The organization hopes to build a reputation for excellent care,
cutting edge technology, and the use of the outstanding medical team. I wish we could say that
we are a nonprofit organization but the foundation is a for-profit company. It is simple, but not
easy, at Wynnewood Health Center, the heart of everything we do is the commitment to
excellence.

The center is a growing health care facility and the administrator is striving to add more
services as time passes. For example, one of the services is diagnostic imaging; this is a division
of the facility that offers amount of services, such as ct scans, mammograms, ultrasounds,
magnetic resonance imaging, and bone density tests.
Wynnewood supports two health care facilities and to improve the benefits of the
community, a joint venture was needed to ensure the best care is given. Together the two
facilities created the magnetic resonance service to the community. As an outpatient facility,
high quality surgery care can be provided so that a patient can be treated and not be away from
his or her family for very long.
Wynnewood Health Center is dedicated to the provision of healthcare for women of all
ages. A full range of care is offered for the cancer patient or prenatal care for women who need
the care. Many other services are provided by the clinic for women and children; and more to
keep the family healthy.
Our facility offers assistance for patients who suffer from a sleep disorder; the clinic is
under the direction ofTamara L. Williams, M.D. Other clinic physicians on the staff are
Jeremiah Henley, M.D. and Richard Horanzy, M.D. Sleep orders are diagnosed and treated,
including snoring and sleep apnea. A Registered Dietician is on staff to discuss diet education,
counseling, and use of dietary supplements to find a dietary nutrition therapy plan for anyone.
The dietitian can be reached at 405-555-2330, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The facility is dedicated to providing complete physical, emotional, and spiritual care for
the patients who need assistance. The health facility has constructed a team of doctors, registered
nurses, chaplain, nutritionist, and social worker is dedicated to providing palliative care for the
Hospice patient.

The facility offers an adult daycare program, car seat safety program, lifeline, social
services, support groups, and the Whitaker House. The house is a provision for patients who and
his or her family who need treatments at the facility. The house is named forThomas Whitaker,
who has been a long-time supporter of the foundation which started the Wynnewood Health
Center. Guests who stay in the Whitaker House must be stable in the medical sense and the
charge for this service $25 per night housing fee and a $5 cleaning fee. The ten-bedroom home
provides comfortable lodging for outpatients and his or her family while the patient is receiving
treatment at the Wynnewood Health Center.
T
he center also provides a stop-smoking clinic; which provides many programs to assist a
person in quitting. Smoking is known to raise the risk of cancer, lung disease, and heart disease.
Quitting can be difficult but the clinic provides a program in which a councilor is available 24-
hours per day. The center provides phone counseling sessions and access to free supplies. The
number is 1-555-STOPSMOKING.
Many services are available in our facility; our staff can assist a patient in finding
financial resources to assist him or her while staying in the hospital or providing a patient with
pastoral care. We treat our patients like family because without them we are nothing. One of our
most comprehensive programs is the Safe Kids Program. The program is in existence to
prevent accidental childhood injury because it is a leading killer of children 14 and under. As
prevention our staff will educate parents, children, and his or her family about ways to prevent
injury. Our facility offers a strong volunteer program which consists of an Auxiliary for adults,
the Nightingales for retired nurses, and a teen program for ages 14-18. The services range from
escort and errand to hospitality and family services. In the future we hope to provide 50,000
hours of service annually.

include loyalty, respect for people, transparency in our business affairs, and business integrity.
Our mission will demonstrate that the goal of the facility is to always be available for every
client who enters the doors. No matter what conditions are present.
Spirit of progress, team spirit, and service spirit are the demands our administration
places on the staff of the facility. He or she is expected to have exceptional human qualities and
specific behaviors. More than 97% of the employees are in direct daily contact with the clients
and consumers. The effects of values on the facility is great, the personnel are the face of the
facility and the efforts put forth by him or her is the factor which determines the success of any
facility but the emphasis of Wynnewood Health Center.
