  • Buffalo Niagara A Multimodal Logistics Hub

Buffalo Niagara is uniquely positioned to offer the business

community unparalleled options when it comes to logistics and

distribution. Our location on the U.S.Canadian border, natural

assets like our Great Lakes waterfront, and our established

network of road, rail and air carriers make Buffalo Niagara a

transportation hub. Logistics and distribution services are

further supported by the areas robust mix of professional

    freight forwarders, consolidators, customs brokers,

    and third-party logistics providers.

TruckingBuffalo Niagara is home to many regional distribution centers, including ones operated by Goya Foods, UPS, Robinson Home Products, Sonwil Distribution, and Tops Markets.

Our easily accessed international transportation network allows carriers to efficiently deliver for their customers. Whether your shipments are containerized, bulk commodities, or LTL, Buffalo Niagara serves as an ideal distribution location.

RailThe Buffalo Niagara region is served by four Class I railroads (CSX, NS, CN, and CP) and one regional railroad (Buffalo & Pittsburgh, a division of Genesee & Wyoming Inc.), which interchanges with all four Class I railroads.

Both CSX and NS have centrally located intermodal yards, offering superior access to the Port of New York/New Jersey and Chicago, IL.

Domestic and international container service is available.
