BTE Hearing Aids Or Behind The Ear Hearing Aids Most people when you think of a BTE

hearing aid you think of the big bulky device that had a large piece that goes behind the ear and a large

plastic mold for the ear piece. Not a lot of people today want to wear big hearing devices. A lot of people wonder why do you have to wear a BTE hearing aid when they have those tiny in the ear devices available.

One of the reasons is the type of hearing loss you have. Sometime a in the ear hearing device can make you have that plugged up effect on your hearing. Where you feel like you have your fingers in your ears which causes you to be able to hear yourself when you talk. So the manufactures came up the a device called the Open Fit Hearing Aids.

An example of a Open Fit Hearing Aid is an Alera made by Resound, It is a smaller design of a BTE hearing aids. BTE Hearing Aids Don't Have To Be Big Any More.
