Freshers goody bags Each year, we place a freshers goody bag in every room of halls. This is an ideal opportunity to get promotional materials directly into the hands of students when they first arrive in their new room at Bucks. You can insert any leaflets, brochures or promotional items. It is a fantastic way to promote your business through face-to-face interaction with students and typically the event has a footfall of over 5,000 students and staff throughout the day. Electricity and access to the wifi can be arranged prior to the event. To book any of these opportunities contact [email protected] Summer mailout insertion Each August, we post out over 6,000 packs to both new and returning students. Each pack includes a number of different leaflets, a newspaper, a student involvement guide, and a number of commercial leaflets. This pack is a great chance to engage with students just before they arrive at Bucks. The details Freshers packs (2,500 leaflets): £375* Returners packs (3,500 leaflets): £525* Price for both packs: £800 Booking deadline: Friday 9 Aug Delivery deadline: Friday 16 Aug *Price is calculated at £150 per thousand inserts. FRESHERS OPPORTUNITIES On confirmation of an order, a booking form will be raised and sent out to be approved and signed. Payment for all media will be required before the deadline. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT - which will be charged at the standard rate, where applicable. A full artwork specification is available from the Communications & Marketing team (see back page for contact details). We also offer a full artworking service for an additional fee. Pre-freshers newspaper special During the summer, we produce a freshers’ special edition which highlights all sessions, events and activities during the Freshers Fortnight. A newspaper gets posted out to every single student in our summer mailout. A large proportion of the guides are posted out late August (as part of the summer mailout), but they are also distributed throughout the academic year. We offer one company the chance to sponsor these cards with their logo placed on the reverse of the card. The card lasts for the entire academic year from September to June.
