Business Process Description Overview

Calibration can be performed on equipment in following scenarios:• While installing a new equipment or object or • On due date of calibration decided by the PM schedule• fter carrying out any maintenance job on the equipment or object• If the measurement !alue indicated by the equipment is erratic• If demanded by any "tatutory uthority#

ll the equipments or objects are calibrated with reference to corresponding Master Calibrator#

"uch Master Calibrators are calibrated at ccredited $aboratories %appro!ed by &OI'#In"er!ice chec(s of master calibrators to be done as per guidelines of the accredited labs#

fter calibration of an equipment or object) Calibration *ecord needs to be maintained#Calibration process should be intimated on time for calibration requirements ofequipment and also capture unscheduled calibration in system#

Calibration Process is used to gauge the accuracy of equipment# Calibration can bedone at the time of installation) at regular inter!als or when a malfunction isencountered#

Order will be created in the system based on the scheduling parameter mentionedIn the plan #1he operation will be as mentioned in the tas( list with inspection point233 may be lin(ed to the plan or may be e plicitly lin(ed to order as required

• 1he +",$ wor( center would choose the rele!ant inspection lot and record result4or the master inspection characteristics maintained in the tas( list

• +ased on the result recording the system is configured to automatically deli!er ausage decision or the +",$ wor( center may manually ta(e the usage decision

• fter completing the calibration maintenance acti!ity) the maintenance personConfirms the actual time with reference to the order

• 1he maintenance person also records the technical data which may be used for *oot cause analysis# 1he maintenance planner then technically completes theOrder

• 1he order settlement rule can be made manual or automatic) and "ettlementprocess distributes the costs that accrued for the order to the defined "ettlementrecei!er
