Connect with Corporate Africa The 2nd Canada-Africa Business summit will be hosted by the Canadian Council on Africa in Toronto from November 6–9, 2016. The summit will be an unprecedented gathering in Canada with over 1,000 delegates including business and government leaders from all over the African continent, Canada and other nations seeking a place on this new global business frontier.
Africa is booming, and needs Canadian expertise to support and sustain its growth in all sectors. Come to the Summit, network and promote your brand among African leaders eager for your industry know-how.
From natural resources and mining, to infrastructure and energy, to information technology and air transportation: whatever your industry, whatever the size of your operation, CCAfrica can help you network, partner and locate opportunities in African countries. We can direct you to the big financial institutions and small business services that make it easier for you to do business on the continent.
Since its founding, CCAfrica has been the only pan- Canadian organization working to connect our federal and provincial governments, small and large businesses, and private and public corporations to rewarding opportunities and partnerships in Africa.
By providing connections, research and assistance, CCAfrica is dedicated to helping you expand your business internationally. For over 12 years, this is the dedication we’ve shown to our membership of over 150 premier Canadian companies.

The Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica) is pleased to invite you to its second Canada-Africa Business Summit (CABS) from November 6 to 9, 2016, at the Sheraton Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This year, the Summit will once again feature major financial institutions, government leaders, an in-depth look at some Focus Countries, networking and B2B meetings, and panel discussions on key business topics. The event follows our inaugural Canada-Africa Business Summit in 2014, which attracted more than 75 high profile speakers, over 700 participants representing 300+ organizations from around the world, and featured the Republic of Cameroon and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia as focus countries. CABS is the premier cross-sector business forum for Canadian and African industry leaders. It provides a platform for Canadian companies to engage with one of the fastest growing regions in the world and for African entrepreneurs to learn more about Canadian capabilities, technologies, expertise and know-how. This is a unique opportunity for your organization to meet key decision-makers, including senior government officials and potential partners, explore funding opportunities, and get access to tangible projects.
There has never been a better time for global companies to invest in Africa. This is partially because of the continent’s lucrative market of over 1 billion people across 54 countries, a significant percentage of which includes a middle class with growing consumer power. This rising middle class presents business opportunities in all sectors, including agriculture, training, energy, financial services, infrastructure, information communication technology, manufacturing and natural resources. It is an opportune time for Canadian companies looking to expand their business internationally and, specifically, to consider the continent of Africa.
There are many ways in which you can promote your brand and company during the 2016 Summit through various sponsorship levels (Principal, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze), as well as through the Exhibition (EXPO) Booths, Lunch and Gala Dinner.
It is with this in mind that we invite you to consider a sponsorship at CABS, which will provide your firm with exposure to all Canada-Africa Summit delegates, business and government leaders. We have asked our Vice- President of Business Development & Member Relations Chris Kianza, to follow up with you in this regard.
We look forward to your attendance, and working with you to grow your business at the Canada-Africa Business Summit, 2016.
Yours Sincerely,
Benoit La Salle Jean J. Gauthier Nola KianzaChair of the Board of Directors President & CEO Founder & Executive Board MemberCanadian Council on Africa Canadian Council on Africa Canadian Council on Africa [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]
