When he was 17, he moved to California to pursue a musical career. He was becoming famous so Peter got his stage name ‘Bruno Mars’

Why “Bruno Mars”?At the age of 2, his father nicknamed him Bruno because he thinks he looks like the legendary wrestler, Bruno Sammartino.

Then he added ‘Mars’ and he said:I felt like he didn’t have any pizzazz, and a lot of girls say I was out of this world, so I felt like I’m from Mars.
