Why in-built (dedicated) CNG busses and minibuses are not popular in Bangladesh.

High purchasing cost - Tata Diesel buss = around 18,00,000 Tk. - Tata CNG buss = around 27,00,000 Tk. - Hino Diesel buss = around 38,00,000 Tk. - Hino CNG buss = around 50,00,000 Tk. Maintenance cost is high, because high cost of spare parts and trained

technicians are not available. The weights of the vehicle is increased CNG vehicles have a shorter traveling distance compared to traditional fuels. Many in-built (dedicated) CNG busses have already been damaged within

short period.

In-built (dedicated) CNG Three-Wheeler from Pakistan, China, Thailand have already been damaged within short period.

Only bajaj three-wheeler from India is plying well. But its life time is short compare to two-stroke bajaj three-wheeler.

Navana Ltd. and Nitol Motors Ltd. already stopped importing in-built (dedicated) CNG vehicles.

So, presently converted CNG vehicles is viable for our country. So, presently converted CNG vehicles is viable for our country.
